I don't know what to say I just don't believe it

I never liked him, mainly his style(no disrespect meant because he got the job done) but I have to pay my respects because he was a genius when it came to marketing

I know Bill Gates must be very sad.

IMA MISS YOU STEVE

VERY VERY SAD DAY

Terrible news, and as mentioned, i don't use many Apple products. But Steve was one of the founding fathers of the PC revolution, so i tip my hat and pour out my 40oz to Steve Jobs, he had a good run.

RIP Steve Jobs. Kind of shocking, but not unexpected.

Never been a big fan of Apple, but I have great respect for what Steve Jobs. Not many corporate big wigs [if any] could do what he did the way he did it.

I didn't agree with him on just about everything, but he was a man who stood by his convictions through thick and thin and could not be bullied.
That is a rare personal trait these days.
Prayers up for his family and all those close to him.

I only have owned and used an iPod Touch 2nd Gen and the rest I did not like so much. But anyway, Jobs did a pretty good job. Just imagine if you were one of the CEOs of the world's most famous and successful companies.

I was even surprised to read the news here first. RIP Steve Jobs.

What does this have to do with hardware? Shouldn't this be in General Nonsense?

Yeah idk if it sohuld be this section exactly but it deserves to be on TPU and not GN.

Sad day indeed and a huge loss for tech innovation.

Even hundreds of millions of dollars cannot significantly extend ones life if their body is done. Maybe some day but obviously not yet.

Just today was reading an interesting article on CNN What We Really Owe Steve Jobs which is about his contributions regarding fonts and digital typefaces of all things. Yes, it actually is interesting and important as well...

You may say what you want about the corporate practices of Apple, but you have to admit the tech world has lost one of the most visionary and influencing persons in recent history; it's a sad day for technology lovers around the world.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs

R.I.P...sadly the timing of this death is right at the release of their latest hardware. Ironically the stock took a hit then bounced back. It may literally nose dive tomorrow with this fickle market. The iphone itself will still sell like hotcakes...especially on Sprint. Just not sure if it is worth Sprint giving Apple 20 billion over the next 4 years though.
