XSPC has good res, Dual bay would be nice, also they make a single bay res as well.

It's easier to mount higher in the loop. I've used both and the bay res makes bleeding the loop much easier due to its design.

+1, my last WC loop runs too quiet which is great but it bothers me a little cuz i wasnt sure if its running or not so i switch to bay, and bay reservoir looks better imo

For me personally I like the pump res vs. the bay res.

Why?
Less leak points.
Cleaner finished look.

Erocker brings up a great point to the bay res though. It will allow the system to bleed much easier.

no, just less leak points!

This means that you will have two less points of leaking potential with the res on the pump versus the bay res.
Without a drawing it is hard to show but think of this. With a bay res you need fittings on the pump and the res (total of 4). With the res on the pump, you now only need the two on the res, and the pump barbs get replaced with the res.(only 2 fittings to leak in this arrangement)

Fesser 3/8" white tube stretched over 1/2" barbs (no clamps). I would advise if this is your first go at water, clamp it all up to be sure first time at it

I only used Tygon and whatever tubing came in my Swifty H20-320 kit. They turned brown on me

I think it was microscopic bits of the copper that were embedding in the tube, IDK really.

For me, I wont use dyes again, so I at least buy the color I want in the tube.
Just my pennies for thought!
