A = (1) B = (0, 2) C = (4) D = (3, 5) So to run triple-channel make sure you use 3 different channels. But if you fill them up you use 4...unless somehow it becomes triple-channel with A, B and D for example while C is by its lonesome as a single-channel?

Im waiting for an X79 mobo with a 1155 layout design, when every ram slot is a single channel that would be perfect as you can run 8\16GB of ram in quad-channel no probs

This board looks magnificent, but it hardly feels like an upgrade design-wise compared to e.g. Extreme3 gen 3 board. It's almost same thing with a few twists, such as bigger heat sinks
Nonetheless, awesome, I guess theres no need to change perfection!

very nice looking board but I still think its lacking on the USB 3.0 for being the highest end model. and the legacy PCI slot should be gone I would much rather see a pci x1. thats very interesting how the ram is separated in groups of 3

Looks like trouble for double slotted video cards and running more than one with that spacing.

damn sexy board
I think it is a good idea to include 1 PCI slot during this long transitional phase to all PCI-E products

seems like PCI E is taking a long time to completely snuff out PCI, same with SATA against IDE n USB against PS/2, Advantage of PS/2 is the Nkey rollover for keyboards

ISA took generations to change to PCI, floppy to CD, CD to DVD.. etc etc. progress is always slow.

Looks like a fast MB. I like the 6 slot ram design. 4 slots for quad channel seems like a good route to go for over clocking ram. Very nice.
