Modern Warfare 3 new trailer, Redemption SP. Graphics as good as BF3?

There’s a great new single player trailer just out for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It continues the story from the previous game and looks excellent, as you might expect. However, since it’s coming out at the same time as Battlefield 3, one can’t help compare the graphics quality between the two. MW3 seems to look like an evolutionary improvement, but still looks like "computer generated graphics", while BF3 appears to define a whole new level of realism which isn’t that hard to mistake for the real thing if it's not looked at closely. Go watch it over at Guru3D at 720p and decide for yourselves. Note that watching the video directly on YouTube requires a free account registration due to the strong nature of the content, but not on Guru3D.

I don't think so, BF3 looks good but not amazing, while MW3 looks like what it is . .. a console port.

Here's my 2 cents - as long is its crapton of fun i barely care about the graphics. the graphics of this game may not look like the latest DX11 titles but its ok. I could run this game on my laptop and play it on just about any modern computer i can find.

Well I will buy this one the same as I have for every other one since CoD 2. for the SP. Tho this time at least I will buy it at a discount. I never bought a single CoD for the MP just the great cinematic SP's

I was old enough to play DOOM. My brother was not. My parents didn't allow him to play it and gave him other activities to do.

BF3 = Revolutionized new graphics for FPS, yet will still tremble against MW3 multiplayer. (However, the jet-play is epic!)

MW3 = Improved graphics and visuals yet not that of BF3. Will probably have a better story than BF3.

So, it's going to come down to how well BF3s story is written and it will come down to how well MW3 multiplayer will be (new features-wise).

For me personally, I already have BF3 and will pick up MW3 because both games are amazing.

(However, the jet-play is epic!) MW3 = Improved graphics and visuals yet not that of BF3. Will probably have a better story than BF3. So, it's going to come down to how well BF3s story is written and it will come down to how well MW3 multiplayer will be (new features-wise). For me personally, I already have BF3 and will pick up MW3 because both games are amazing. __________________ Heatware
