hi everyone!!

i am using two 8800gt in sli on P35 chipset motherboard in 16x 4x mode without a SLI bridge and q6600..

i read all threads about modding drivers and working with slipatch and hypersli..

have sli mode after many sleepeles nights,my gpu-z reports that i have SLI enabled(2 gpus),and in nvidia control panel is all set to SLI..

but..in many benchmark programs i have lower scores with SLI then before with a single GPU..lost 2k in 3dmark06,have lower fps in crysis..so everthing is worst then before..

why is that?if someone could tell me what should i do?
using latest drivers and i try with and without mod(nviddmkm.sys)..

i am asking you anatolymik to write a tutorial (step by step) or simply explain,for users who are not so experienced..please please

Is because your Video Cards are linked at x4, that's why you see a drop in FPS, - With just one card the bandwith is full x16 and that improves the comunication speed between the GPU and the CPU.

You need an SLI bridge with that setup, it will make a big difference.

Sweet... updated to driver 285.62 and seems to work fine.

I still have windows 7 x64 running in test mode and Ive got the text in the bottom right of my desktop saying...

This was from the previous modded drivers... how do I remove this?

Has anyone looked at the performance of HyperSLI vs an actual SLI board? Is there any loss or is it comparable? Very interested in trying this out on a P45 board.

You don't need modded drivers with hyper sli.

Hey I downloaded the hyper SLI patch and the newest driver (285.62) and the SLI is working but I am getting the same screen flicker that I got when i used patches higher than 275.33. That driver worked perfectly but I can't use it for BF3. What can I do to fix this? It's basically like a very fast flicker in both the menus and the actual game in any fullscreen game.

When it did that on mine i had the sli bridge on the wrong connection make sure there on the ones close to the back of your case also may have another way but you have to use nvidia inspector
