The game is apparently coming out next year, sometime 2012. No exact date other than 2012 has been released from what I heard so far. As for the video I've seen the non-commentary and the game function of taking a hostage is cool, I never thought the function would ever be made.

This is clearly another classic game from the past being re-continued, let's just hope it is made to the same sort of standard as Deus Ex: Human Revolution or better in terms of graphics and other important areas.

Let hope it's up to having decent story, last one was ok and remember it's roots what made it the game it was.

Be better if it was more like the length of Deus Ex 1 with a kick as story lol. Revolution can blow it out of my ass as they will never make one as good as the 1st one but at least it was better than the 2nd one.

The first dx had a sinister undertone and an ironic seriousness that you just dont see much in games anymore, just played bf3 and i found that to be over the top in an underwhelming kinda way, i liked hitman in its day, sneaking round changing uniforms/clothes, trying not to get sprung, and it was funny some of the missions, clever. Yeh, i hear you, not getting my hopes up anymore, im actually enjoying corny global ops more than hi tech hyped up bf3.
Ah well, didnt know they were working on a new hitman, lets hope it surprises.

I heard that Absolution was supposed to be modeled after the movie, not the previous games. If that's what they did, I'm gonna be pissed. Contracts then Bloodmoney took the game in an excellent direction in terms of gameplay mechanics (fewer weapons but lots of upgrades and that newspaper reporting on how you did at the end of each mission). I would like to see them further evolve that instead of dumbing it down for a movie audience.

Yes that would be a sad day if go from the movie as the movie sucked BIG time... I always thought they needed to make it a 2h+ movie and not rush though it like they did do. Then they could of covered the whole Hitman story MUCH better.

Some reason 90 minute films annoy me as they leave so much detail out.

The way that Blood Money ended, I cant see how they wouldnt build from that.

I know the person that has been playing the voice of 47 all these years is still the voice actor for the new game. Only time will tell what happens with the game.

Ended by him shooting everyone ... i guess you did not do that part which was hidden i take it. Why you think his weapons were left with him .

So this game could very well continue right off from the last game, but I wouldn't know that as I never played any of them despite the fact that I have three of the games on my Steam (got it from a Square Enix pack that I brought last Christmas). I guess I will make a start of Blood Money then.

I did do that actually. I was more referring to the other ending.

I just watched the commentary trailer and it looks bad ass. I cant wait to get my hands on this game.
