Pay it forward TPU

In an effort to give back to this great community, I'm going to be once again giving away random items that I don't need anymore, but that someone can use. I'm starting with just a few random items that I have lying around. If you don't need anything, maybe you know someone who does, but can't afford to buy it. Maybe you have something you'd like to give! If you wanted to offer some items for free, I'll add your item to the list along with your user name. Good Karma for everyone.

I'll be adding more stuff as I find it. Maybe some "substantial" items too. I think it's a good idea for us each to do this once in awhile.

Anyone may donate, and anyone may accept a gift. However, I would ask that anyone who requests an item, commit to either crunching for the TPU WCG team or folding for the TPU folding@home team for at least one month, and/or offer up an item or 2 of your own.

The details of any gifts, including shipping etc. is strictly between the member offering the gift, and the member receiving. This must be worked out in PM's, and should in no way be brought into this thread.

I think I still have some items to give away however I can't afford to pay the shipping costs right now. I can list them this weekend if there's any interest. I believe I have a DFI Lanparty 939 board which supposedly has issues but I never got a 939 CPU to test it. I guess it boots but I can't remember what's wrong with it, I honestly believe it was user error on the previous owners part.

Awesome, glad your starting it back up again Paul. I've got to dig through what I've got but I can pass along some goodies.

I actually just gave away (for the cost of postage) my lycosa keyboard to another forum member and gave a megahalem cooler to a new member just recently too. I think this is a great thing to do. It's a community after all and helping each other out is one way to cement good feelings and trust all round.

I think that will be fine, unless I post different.

Yeah, I know I'm scared as hell to open mine up, but I'm always pleasantly surprised by something I find.

The V1? That's posting from Tennessee. Probably not worth trying to ship that far.

List of items is updated.

Ok I have found some stuff:
  • 1 x Acer Socket 775 motherboard. DDR2 + pcie. It did have a c2d cpu in it but I can't find it. board works great. I have I/O shield but not much else.
  • 6600gt pcie gfx card
  • 9400GT pcie gfx card
  • G210 pcie gfx card
  • Scythe Shiruken low profile cpu cooler, no fan. Has AMD clip attached to it but I am pretty sure I have other hardware somewhere.
  • 1x 1gb DDR2 ram 667mhz
  • GB AM2 matx motherboard. I think its a geforce 6100, DDR2, pcie etc.. No I/O shield or accessories.

More stuff to come
