Wow this game is huge I have done like 2 quest and im level 8. All I do is run around and hunt! I go after those huge mammoths with my bow. I kill the giants by taking them to water they wont get in you can still shoot your arrows!

theres a mod on the website i linked for better textures npc's it works too

its the face mod, but it makes the skin look better and detail look better overall

you coujld apply the anti sharpen mod and the face texture mod and the hig armor texture mod and it wouldnt even hurt your card, i applied all those to my wifes computer and plus a uber config file i made and she has a 5850 in her computer

Well I've been getting the occasional more often than should, just froze the fucking PC this time CTD, generally when I quicksave. I've learned to never use Steam overlay while I'm in a menu that requires TAB to get back out of since it likes breaking.
Actors (deer especially) like running out of my field of vision yet when they do they freeze in place and become invincible until I move much closer

This is obviously still the gamebyro engine (albeit heavily modified), but they managed to breathe new life into it which is a massive plus.

Went around killing some poor bastards to attract the Dark Brotherhood (stealth/dual blade/archer character).. Oh I attracted them alright, just not in the way I wanted -_-

Whats a good way to skill up in conjuration? My atronach killed an entire dungeon and it did nothing to my skill. Simply spawning doesn't seem to do anything either as far as I can tell. Seems random at best? :S

Using bound weapons is probably the fasted to level up conj. Your summon has to get the killing blow on quite a lot of things higher level than it to skill up

Yeah same lol. I was at the point where my bags were full of iron and leather and I was over encumbered, I'm still too poor to buy a house so I put it in some closet. I hope no one steals it

I have the sword of whiterun in there!

You should be able to play on high with 2x AF and get 60fps

Try turning off the auto save on Character menu feature?
And just use regular saves if it crashes. xD

You're right I can but I choose to play it all ultra with AA/16AF and shadows down to high with the fps locked at 40. It's still uber smooth and looks much, much better

You have to click the game twice, Alt+Tab once > Click on game > Alt+Tab again> Click on game again and it should show up.

Also my 11.10 driver also doesn't have Mip Map settings, not sure what is going on.

2 things I found useful for carrying items. One is to go to get the "steed" enhancement from those random stones scattered around - the steed one's removed all speed effects due to armour and lets me carry a ton more stuff, there's also rings you can get to improve stamina and carrying capacity.

Random traders seem to stock them but in a very small quantity (I have about 50 from locked chests, but I find them pretty easy to pick so dont break picks often). I guess if it is like Oblivion the best place is in the thives guild.

And just had soemone take out a contract on me.. stepped outside the walls and ran into four thugs.. hillarity ensued when I sprinted back to the companions building and my newly minted "Brothers" kicked their ass... after reading the contract it was a hit put out on me from stealing from this house :P

Ohh I didn't think of giving her armour! I gave her some weaps to carry for me, but I didn't know she could use armour, I just sold some steel armour too :C
