I finally started my home basement clean up (Hardware parts)

Built few times some retro gaming PC's in the past but now i wanted to built two of them & keep it running without taking some parts out for other use...

I also want to organize everything (GC ,Cases ,HDD ,etc..) together on some shelves & a nice little place to work on PC's
I am not going to be able to do it all this week end so , ill update this thread when i get some more digging & work done ;)

Anyhow i found out that i got way more graphic cards than i thought i have
I've got some 3Dfx V2,V3,V4 & GeForces , Matrox , Trident , SiS , etc...
For now you will see all the pics (20) of the graphic cards i own , except for two that are not showing in the pics & are in two running PC's (9600Pro & 9250)

Enjoy!

EDIT: Those cards are all working BTW :rockout:

Hey, we have some of the same cards! I keep most of em in a box in the basement though  I think most of them are a bit too friendly with spiders and dust by now. /sigh Mx440 my old favorite, if you pull out a geforce 6800GT I might start to cry.

awesome collection, i think ive used most of those types at some point. i still got 3 voodoo 2s and a voodoo3. SLI still works with the v2s :). they run decent 3 and UT2K pretty well. as for the mx440 that was a decent card... until shaders were needed. as for hard drives ive had to get rid of most but i still got my 19gb bigfoot lol. ive got an amd 133mhz 486 cpu somewhere...

Yeah! a lot of people was bitching the MX440 but most of them had the 64bit version mine is 128bit & overclock really high
But like you said shaders were needed but only for shaders 1.4 & up , since my MX440 had shaders 1.1 if i remember correctly?

Anyhow other then that is was a good card

Cool stuff. I wish I had some old hardware. I am going to my girlfriends house over the thanksgiving break though and I think they are going to be trashing an old dell (like 10-12 years old) because I built them a new sandybridge build. Maybe ill make it into an old school gamer.

I used this back in the days of Pentium 133 Mhz with 32MB RAM. The most high end game I could play was Road Rash. LOL

yea i remember playing a demo of Half Life 2 with the 440. Mine was a "nVidia GeForce 4 MX440 with AGP 8x". It came with my first real gaming computer.

that sis card reminds me of the first comp i had with win xp... allthough mine was an onboard 530. i think the mobo was an amptron 598LMR. by the time i could afford a newer pc (had the thing till 05) it had a k6-2 OC to 550, 768mb PC133, 8mb shared to the 530, and a 20gig Maxtor slim hdd. it was my starcraft and half life/cs 1.6 machine... it was later used as a cs 1.6 server lol.

my first starcraft gamer had an amd "p75" 486 at 133mhz. managed to OC to 150 mhz lol. it had 48mb of the pre sdram stuff... 72pin i think. that thing had a expansion card for everything... even the hdd controller. ran win98 se ok. had an opti 512kb video card.
