I agree, your system looks well, didn't see any reason for upgrade.

Keep your rig for now, that CPU has very good performance.

See what Ivy Bridge brings next year before deciding on an upgrade.

Change it only when you won't be able to do the things you used to do or game with the current PC & not because there is something new out there unless , you're a rich guy with nothing else to do then spending money...

Definately get ssd, even if only 60gb for o/s because it really improves load times and boot plus more,
and they are cheaper than they used to be, the thing is, most games really arent geared to take advantage of much more power than your system , lest using multi monitor setup maybe.
Ssd will satisfy the cravings for more goodies/toys/presents to oneself etc.

If eyecandy you are after well that cpu is damn fine. A better GPU would be better, but heck, you also have a 570. So just sit back and relax, appreciate the awesomeness eh?

Well, I'm upgrading mine. I've currently got an E8500 system (see specs). While it still feels very fast for general desktop use and even gaming, it can't quite push the 120Hz framerates I want for my new 120Hz monitor on current games (same games are faster than others, obviously). Therefore, it's finally giving me the excuse reason to upgrade.

If you get a 2500K/2600K/2700K system, you'll be very happy with it.

Go GTX 570 SLI, you are already half way there with 1 and your PSU can easily handle another.

ive been there already, look for my rig in case mod g.
i really miss it but most of games didnt run SLI, so i sold one.
and right now is better to sell mine and sum $100 more and get a gtx580 than spend $340 for a sli that i proved. im thinking on a evga gtx580 classified but in newegg its just a 3gb version at $599. HECK!! i just want the 1.5gbversion
note>here i can sell it for the same price it costs in newegg.
