Looking for laptop bag for large 17" laptop
Got an Asus G74 laptop, which is a 17.3" screen. The back of the laptop is about 2" thick when closed, so it needs to be fairly big. I don't want a backpack if possible, prefer one that can be used over the shoulder. I picked up a 17" modrec at Canada Computers. But it didn't fit.

Aye, but you DID just drop $1200+ for that beast of a machine, so whats another $130?
![]() If you want a messenger bag Amazon might be your best bet as they normally list dimensions. G74 Dimensions: 16.5" x 12.8" x 2.4" Bag #1 Bag Dimensions: 17" x 13" x 4" Bag #2 Bag Dimensions: 16.25" x 12" x 5.75" (Check the link, I think the .8" would not be an issue) |

Maybe not the best looking bag in the world but I have a similar 12" for one of my netbooks
should fit your laptop just fine Optionally - if the dimensions are correct - this one can be quite nice

I actually have one of these for my Gateway P7811 FX 17" laptops and there is a ton of room! It is easy to carry either by the handle or as a backpack.
