If you are looking at cards in that price range, these are far better cards..
And also 512mb over 256mb really doesn't make that big of a difference. And with your system it will make about no difference. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102048 I have that card personally for now. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102033 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102060 |

That really dosent matter much, even on the higher end cards. What kind is your X1300? XT, Pro?

In that case, the X700 will give you SOME performance over the X1300, but not much. You can get this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16814102596R or even this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16814102021R for just a few bucks more

I don't know of any flashes for the X1300, I have never heard of any. I know that you can't unlock anything, so the only benifit will be clock speeds and you can do that anyway.

No, you cant. The XT has GDDR3 and the pro has like 600MHZ core clocks.

I would say so. For $99.99 that X1800GTO is damn near unbeatable.

With you system. If I was you, I would save my money, and do with what you go for now.. then when you get the money, get a better card. I suggest something along the lines of a 7900 series.. they really aren't that expensive anymore. I have this card, and it screams for what I like to game on with it. I max out F.E.A.R, BF2, 2142, anything I throw at it, nothing goes below like maybe 45. But I use 1024x768.. I could crank it up easily and not lag, but I like 1024x768, because I have a 17" monitor..I get over 100 FPS in F.E.A.R sometimes easily also..the maxes on fps are insane, and they rarely drop.. I really recommend it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130056 Just my opinion though. S1iP |

It's a new name for the left over chips that were already made. It's a world better than the x1300 or x1300pro. Honestly if you don't mind open box an x800GTO or x1800 is a hot card, if you want new seek out a x1300xt or x1600xt or 1650pro. There are plenty around that are in that price range. Any which card you do with in this list will blow away the x1300. |

You talking about that card..dunn think so..it isn't faster than a 7900GS that is for sure.. they both have 20 Pix. pipes, but the clocks on the 7900GS stock are 500/1380. Even with the 7800GT overclocked, I dought it would get very close to the 7900GS just barely overclocked, or left at stock.. S1iP |

Ya I don't think I have ever had a problem with an open box either, you just have to download the drivers and don't get the cables and stuff.
