This is not meant to combat the Frio OCK series.

I believe this is a common issue where users are possibly mis-understanding the target for the cooler.

Many have asked for both direct touch heatpipe and PWM fans so we offer the Frio Advance to fulfill that request..

but dont worry another extreme air cooler is on the way soon..

HAHA thats a big cooler but now with LGA2011 and the dimm placement on both sides of the socket I can see large heatsink trouble in the future...

The larger the better in my opinion, especially if it is made to match a specific case style

I've got 3960X. I'm easily pulling 250W when overclocked @ 4.6 GHz, and can probably do a bit more, if it weren't for temps.

Is it even possible to make an aircooler to meet those sort of needs? To be able to cool 300W easily? My current 2x140mm cooler is not able.

So I take it I can't even get a refund on shipping or anything? Its just going to slide that its ok with thermaltake to have super slow and poor customer service?

Dude you need to seriously chill out, this isnt a rage on the thermaltake rep thread. You ordered something during black friday you should expect it to take more time than usual

No, i will not stop. I didnt even order my stuff on black friday, I ordered it 4 days before black friday! I don't even want the thermaltake stuff anymore. I work very hard for what little money I have and while waiting for them to get their act together I missed out on some other good deals. I don't appreciate thermaltake being apathetic to serving their customers. After reading some threads on hard forum several people received there orders early last week. If I am lucky I will receive mine late this week. If you were in my position you would be very angry as well so dont tell me to chill out!

Most air coolers with tolerable acoustics wont... even with deltas on the best cooler out there is gonna struggle...

I have hit up to 5.1GHz on a 3960X fully stable (prime, Wprime, Cinebench, etc) with a 2x120 water loop but even taht got up to 81-82C core temp which to me is a lil high...

a air cooler just can only handle so much and be realistic.... at some point its just time to move to a better solution such as water or even sub ambient cooling.

its just the cooling surface area your dealing with.... you would end up with a massive fin array with a wall of fans on it.

Hello,

What can I do to make this right for you? You have stated that the product has shipped for your order, which I have already apologized for and will here again publicly say that we at Thermaltake are very sorry to any customer who has been delayed as we had a huge influx of orders which caused a delay in processing. If there is anything we can do to assist you we are always ready and willing to assist however we can.

Well I guess at this point there is nothing you can do. You said my order would ship friday, this was not the case. It shipped yesterday. Most companies will offer to overnight a product or offer a refund on shipping when they create a delay in an order. I guess thermaltake doesnt do that.

Just a suggestion, I was ordering the thermaltake ISURUS Gaming Earphones and the website literally took me an hour or two just to load and final process the order (not to mention the countless back button smashing and submit clicking I did), so perhaps you guys can improve the website? I do however like the earphones and they work well for my needs.

We do apologize for that, I am guessing this was around Black Friday? if so we were far exceeding capacity.... so we made some upgrades and that should not be a issue in the future

Sorry about that we definitely were aware of the issue
