i tried medium shadows, and everything looked really, really well lit.

unfortunately the graphics realism really requires the shadows to be turned up.

I just went ahead and wrote a complaint to Bethesda about the poor optimization, not that I think they'll care that much, but just that I figure someone has to say something...

yea i already did that. anything you complain about will not reach the design team so its rather worthless, altho i did troll 3 Tiers of there techsupport for my own amusement made them back peddle and unable to answer questions was pretty hilarious. I know I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for the LAA fix supposedly coming in the next patch but it seems to line up pretty well

since thats the main focus of my trolling them.

nope i called them up they have my phone number,

Tier 2 called me back i let them have it just as i let Tier 1 have it then Tier 3 support messaged me via Email

i didnt bash them i just trolled there tech support with superior knowledge of there own products and even listed half the questions they would ask me before they asked, its why i got to tier 2 and tier 3 in the first place

and apparently im also EXTREMELY good at being a complete and utter pain in the ass,

I simply stated to all 3 techs that my college background with 8 years of working with there game engine that i have far more knowledge then anyone in there tech department I also explained how easy LAA patch was, and that there DRM choice broke it for no real reason, I also mentioned that there practices hurt the regular consumer not the pirate whom dosent need to give up driver optimizations for stability, I then linked them to every single post i could find on the internet that spelled out there stupidity when it comes to LAA, and then around week later we get an annoucement that a future patch will have LAA by default overall its pretty hilarious i had NO impact in there decision but the timing was pretty good haha.

as for the food argument I KNOW the people whom make my food personally i can order a custom meal with just a simple name and have it ready the way i want momentarily, with proper price etc, The people in my region are poor so. most work in resturants / fast food joints so not a big deal

Well, the game's a really good one. The only drawback (and I mentioned this somewhere in this forum before November) was that they decided on the awesomely cool date of 11-11-11. Meaning that no matter what happened the game had to be released on that date at all costs. And fixes would follow later.

Ultra settings with maxed AA/AF. My little 470 can handle bout 60 fps, sometimes the fog kicks it's ass.
