It's quite similar to FO3/Vegas, so if u can navigate thru them, u should be able to handle Skyrim.

Getting used to it doesn't mean it's good.

edit: I wouldn't mind it quite as much if it actually selected what I'm pointing at with the mouse. Instead I have to wiggle the mouse back and forth over the thing I want until it decides to listen.

Yeah, it's like Big Brother's watching....anyway, on my first playthru I'm trying to do the right thing, however, I did test the effect of stealing in front of someone and they attacked me, so I did it behind closed doors, walked out to no reaction and thought nothing more, till 3 goons turned up

lol. I try to be good as well, aside from stealing everything worth stealing. The only reason I killed that bitch though was because when I came back up from her basement she yelled something to the effect of "FFFUUU YOU KNOW MY SECRET!!!" and then tried to kill me.

But the way some people carry on it's like it's either 360 pad or nuthin, and I think that's ridiculous as so far, I've found this to be a reasonable console port....I mean, compare Skyrim's GFX to the garbage in New Vegas, heck, Skyrim Vanilla still looks better overall than Vegas with a 7 gig texture pack.

I like both but Vegas is a kickass shooter, it has a huge range of guns, mods and alternate ammo, and thankfully they allowed the free use of scoped weapons given the size of the environments.

FO3 with the 1.2gig NMC texture pack is dramatically improved visually and my 6850 still gets 60FPS+ with it.

Vegas also has improved gameplay etc, but I still like the atmosphere in FO3 and I often found it funny.

Since I have an AMD FX6100 with 6 cores I set it to 6. The only other change I did as well was increase my Interior and Exterior Cell Buggers to 78/126 respectively. Also my UGrids is at 7.

I'm not sure what the default is for it though, I couldn't find it set in any .ini file. However after applying and checking for it again the INITweaker has added the following to my Skyrim.ini

[HAVOK]
iNumThreads=6

So you can try adding that for 6 cores or =4 for 4 cores.

lol didn't notice that.

But really in areas where I was getting unusually low FPS like 22 it is now jumped up to 40s and that seems to be the area my FPS mingles now.

I complained about my FPS in certain outdoor areas a while back. I wonder what it was before I set it to 6?

Please post back if it helped you at all. I'm going to use Solaris app to see if is making use of more CPU now.

You know what I also added the TESVAL.dll thats could also be it or part of it. I forgot I had that.

and you get your TOP100 list
