HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)

i enabled Vanderpool technology and i'm able to boot in sli mode but...cannot find sli mode in nvidia control panel..i can change only physx

Hi All!!Merry Christmas to All!!
i need some help please.i have done all the above as u say but nothing shows up for me.
no sli option.only the boot seems to modified.
steps i follow:

1)install 285.38 drivers(clean install)
2)apply sli patch 1.5 beta.
3)install 285.38 modded drivers
4)start cry..

all steps with restart between expt step 4

what's the wrong with me?as i see many ppl do it fine!damn

my system:

asus p5q3 deluxe

2x gtx295

q9550

8gb ram ddr3 1333 dc

win 7 64x

Try to use hypersli 0.7 instead of slipatch. Mantain modded drivers.

Not sure what is wrong orpheas, although sometimes the hack just doesn't work for some. The correct way to install this is to attach a sli bridge to the cards, then install latest nvidia driver (no modded driver!), then install hypersli 0.7, then reboot and enable sli. You may have to try this on a clean windows install at this point for it to work.

the fix was 195.62 driver (for now it's working this one)
and changed position of videocards

Asus P5E64WS EVO
intel Q9650
4GB Corsair dominator
2x9800gtx+ from asus now in sli
Win xp x64

finally i made it!!i have sli on.
i remove everything and i install 280.26 drivers.after that the hypersli patch.then reboot->sli enabled.

BUT when i try to join Crysis Wars(the only game that i play) everything stuck.no game running no pc respond.nothing.alt+ctrl+delete nothing.i have to restart with the button.wtf?
what do you thing guys?

In my experience, you have to run your applications full screen or you run into the issue you noted. So if it's windowed, or you alt-tab out, your PC will lock up.

Thanks for your answer but i dont get it
i run it full screen always.the very first time the game start into main menu and then boom.
after the restart i never see the main menu again..when i press the game exe after 10 sec everything stuck...

ps:if i turn hypersli off i can join the game normally...

If I recall correctly, after first time run failure, Crysis would run again in windowed mode until you set it up again.

I could be wrong, but this is just what I remember of Crysis, and what happened on my PC before I upgraded to fully SLI capable components.

No update will fix this, it is more then likely due to SLI on CF only board. Some games I can ALT+TAB and others I cannot, so I do not.

Hello. Great work, all is working perfectly under my setup with 285.63 drivers. All games run, no minimize issues. specs are:

Asus M4A88T-V EVO mobo
Evga 570 GTX x2
12GB ram
AMD Phenom II 1090t
Rosewell 1200wt psu

The only game that gives me the slightest issue is BF3, where it'll occasionally slow down and make audio sound like it is "tearing." but I am to the point of writing this off as the game not the software.

try this merlino211 bf3 was the only game i had issues with too, this fix every thing for me (http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/b...-solution.html ) and also improved some other games fps too.

I have the X48 board, too. ASUS P5E DELUXE

I faced a different problem, though. (please see my older post)

Long story short, the HyperSli seems to work with the latest official driver,
by looking at the Nvidia control penal and GPU-Z.

However, the BIOS time got reset after installing 2nd GFX card and
the system cannot be shut down properly after it. It reboots right after
everything quiet down.

I removed the driver, 2nd GFX and found many discussions on web to
resolve the the shutdown-reboot issue but none of them worked.

Finally decided to flush the BIOS with the switch on board. And it WORKS.
I got my system back!!

Now the question is, does it means the 2nd Nvidia GFX will never work with my MB?
Any suggestion?

I had updated the BIOS after removing the 2nd GFX, it did not help to resolve
the shut-down problem. I will give the 2nd GFX another try later this week.
