Windows 7 Experience Index Rating

From looking at my system specs, what would you think my Windows Experience Index Rating would or should be?

Actually, its 7.8 for both my CPU and Memory and 7.9 for the rest. Now my question is, what does it take to get a perfect 7.9 for the CPU & RAM? LOL

Ya its not that I want to get a perfect 7.9, but would be nice though, I just thought that I would prior to me building my new rig.

I did score a 7.9 on my RAM only one time when I formatted 2 times ago, but its been a 7.8 ever since, weird or what? ;p

i get 7.5 on cpu and ram. 7.9 for both the graphics. and 6.0 on the hardrive(lol) i really need some ssd's, just a bit too expensive still. but you would think 3x74gig raptors in raid0 would score a little higher. my read writes max out my sata controller.

WEI is based on more then just synthetic benchmark/speeds. You could have 10ghz memory and only score a 7 if there's only 2gb of it, for example.

Arctucas, how much memory do you have?

Ya getting SSDs would definitely bump it up.

From what I have read 7.9 on cpu is luck of draw sometimes. I have seen threads where a 6.8Ghz 980x didnt even get a 7.9.

From my WEI rating, I can believe that.

Betcha if you rate it again it'll more than likely go down to 7.8 for your RAM. That was rated over a year ago from the date on the screenshot.

Alright, it is a bet.

I am re-running it right now and will post a screenshot momentarily.

Fresh run:

Since nothing had changed, I used an old screenshot.

I hate how it takes the lowest score, so I usually do an average.

Mine:

7.5
7.6
7.9
7.9
7.9

if my CPU was OC and the ram was 1600+ I think I could be looking at 7.8-7.9

Dang, my Corsair Force 3 only scores a 7.3. I must have something jacked up.

In that case I have a feeling WEI takes CL 1T 2T timings or dual/tripple configurations into account when calculating it's numbers.
