The Stormcloaks are racists, but the Imperials side with the Thalmor(which basically are elves that want to kill off the humans).

At first I really wanted to join the imperials, but now I don't care for either side. I think I'll join the companions and then go on a stormcloak/imperial killing spree one town at a time. Save first of course.

I hate both sides im the god damned Dragon Born, Ive completed the requests of the Deadric Lords, Ive slain a half god dragon at the Ancient hall were dead heroes drink, Why the hell should i serve some balding imperial bastard thats bent over and taking it like a dirty argonian maid from the Aldmeri Dominion, and why should I serve a racist jackass who wants to be king but couldnt last 2 seconds before my Might.

I kill dragons I kill chickens I kill everything. not to mention im Thane in every court and done more to help people then any one faction ever has. in skyrim, Why am I not King? and Why am I not kicking Thalmor ass.

and on that subject why the hell dont I have an epic castle?

High Hrothgar is to far out of the way altho easily defensible theres no wenches....

to thell the true i find this game actualy garbage compared to dragonage 2,
i turned grapic settings to maxium and doest look that good
gameplay wise, i find it very disturbing that there is no subtitels, cus i prefer to read english whats going on, i cant turn up the volume ingame, quest are not properly directed where to find what, i went to some mounten to find a stone tablet, looking for hours and find nothing

Quest markers (if you don't have too many up to track) will lead you to the exact item you're looking for, complete with "Go through THIS door" indicators.

Unless you've taken the time to make some of the changes to the ini file completely littering this thread, or downloading some of the major HD overhauls that the mod community has to offer so far, the game probably won't overload you. 'Course, if you've not done that already, chances are, you're not the type to like the TES games anyway. Go back to DA2, and have fun.

yea i need to get some modders together that can script

i really want to create a castle with my own army and a full on town. make it a quest line where over time it gets built up much like in morrowind where when you joined the great houses over time as you advanced you gained you own holding.

I want a castle with a town with an army. the works.

probably wont happen though as most of the modders i know left the scene a long time ago aka around the time of shivering Isles. oh well Ill mod some weapons and armor and upload them as modders resource i suppose.

I know lots of you have finished the game, but for me, I haven't yet... and I often come here to update myself about the latest tweaks and mods you guys have found...

not to get all the punches about the game spoiled for me because you guys can't contain yourselves...

I swore I seen you mention that it was a good thing we aren't put in that main role like in DA. That being the muscle and not becoming the ruler was nice. But I could be wrong

If you have a SSD and made tweaks to your pagefile make sure it's at least 4 GBs. I was getting out of memory issues even though I had plenty of ram left when testing 4096 water. Upping my pagefile fixed it.

I was getting out of memory issues even though I had plenty of ram left when testing 4096 water. Upping my pagefile fixed it.
