I just recently joined TPU forum, but I've been reading reviews and also forum threads for years (since 2008, IIRC).
I already knew from a few threads that Mr. Kreij is a very nice and generous person.
And I also read his latest great thread, christmas gift thread or something like that.

It's terrible that something like this happening to someone who's really nice to everybody.

You'll be in my prayer, Mr. Kreij.
Keep it strong and good luck for the treatment and recovery process.

I wish there was a button in the OP that allowed me to "Thanks everyone in the tread", but there is not so I will try to thank you all as the thanks button allows.

Being in the hospital for over two weeks was quite the exercise in patience (<-- understatment of the year), but it gave me the opportunity to really show the nursing staff and my surgeon how much I appreciated everything they were doing to help me. It also gave me the opportunity to visit with the patients on the floor who were worse off than me, and to bring a little hope and happiness into their lives as they were going through their trials.

There was an older gentleman (yes, I know it's hard to comprehend someone older than yer old Uncle Kreij) who was complaining about the hospital food after being there three days. I smiled and told him that for the last 16 days I had nothing but ice chips to wet my mouth (they did not want me to have anything by mouth), and that a simple bowl of creamed soup was like heaven to me. He got a sort of pained look, never complained about the food again and started visiting the other elderly patients who did not have many visitors.
I do believe the Lord and I won that round.

Thanks again, all ... and I'll keep you posted on anything new and will try to get back into my sections as time and recovery allows to help you guys where I can.

My friend back from high school had gone through a similar ordeal not so long ago and also went through similar surgical procedures. He is completely cancer free now and is back to living his life to the fullest, you are not alone and you'll be in my prayers as was my friend.

LOL mailman, there may be a special place in hell for you HAHAHHAHA j/k, Yea laughter and staying positive is always the best cure!

Atleast you can sit in the hospital and game all day!! When my wife had her hysterectomy, I sat and played counter strike for hours while they did the operation and while she was recovering (sleeping LOL). I stopped hourly when the nurses came to let me know her status. Doing things that make you happy can ease times of pain.

Now I want you to look at your gut and say...

Fuck you cancer!! You will never take me!!

Get well Kreij.

My co-teacher at school had an emergency appendectomy about a month ago as well.

This is true. If one of the nurses are really hot you can always run a batch in the bathroom. ALWAYS makes me feel better. Now what I am about to say is a true story. I remember I threw out my back once to the point I couldn't walk. Doctors thought it might have been a knife wound I suffered when I was younger that had finally caught up with me. After a dozen scans and such they couldn't figure it out.

Doctors were "preparing me" for not being able to walk again without intense pain. People were crying and such. Not me. I was more mad at the bastard who stabbed me years before. Then this smoking hot nurse came in. I thought to myself "Walk or no walk shes getting F#Ked in my mind the second these doctors leave the room". After they left and I violated her with my mind the pain in my back started to go away. I can honestly say fapping allowed me to walk again.

I'm no doctor but from what I could tell the intensity of my "session" broke something lose in my back. Dunno. But its worth a try. Maybe the cancer will see what your doing and think "He knows we are trying to kill him and he don't give a f#$K! Look at him go?!" and it will just leave.

Shit man, words can't express the feelings from news like this. The picture above has failed to paint anywhere near a thousand words.

That's rough Kreij, I've had a few family members that have dealt with cancer and it's not easy. My uncle Jim fought his battle for ten years in/out of remission. Just make sure to have regular check ups and you'll have it beat. Make sure to take it easy and to avoid getting any colds, etc. Your immune system starts to get very weak once you start dealing with chemotherapy.
