I got Spanky taken care of. If anyone needs some cheap S775 CPU's, I'd be willing to send out P4 521's to anyone who needs one (don't be greedy please). Check out my FS thread if you need more info or pics.

Please remember to keep paying it forward. Once you receive an item, please commit yourself to either offering up something or participating in WCG. It's the only way paying it forward truly works. I just want to preserve the concept, rather than it ever turning into "A few guys giving a bunch of stuff away". Not that there is any concern about it now, but it's worth mentioning.

I've PMd Rule-R about his DDR2-8500 (in fact, I did almost the moment he posted :P). If it works out, I'll definitely either offer some older stuff for EU members or donate a day or two of F@H WUs under the TPU team number.

Its probably worse than onboard sound. It came from a PIII machine. I just keep in case onboard sound dies

LOL . You better save it then . The on-board sound is ok but nothing more than that and with the cheap head phones I have it is so brutal to play games . Thank you though .

anyone got a spare PCI-E sound card? using the longer crossfire bridge means i cant use my auzen anymore, and the realtek sounds nasty for headphone use (but works fine for digital out to my z55's)

I think I have you covered. I'll double check when I get home. I can't recall what brand it is this second, but it's a decent step up in cooling from the stock cooler. It's an old review sample. I'll get back to you on this tonight.

It looks like a non-standard size. If Paulie can't hook you up, try removing the heatsink, reapplying the thermal compound, and adding a fan over the area.

I know this is asking a lot, but if anyone has a LGA1156 cpu laying around collecting dust, my son is trying to build his first computer. Pretty sure he'd be happy with the low end chips to match with the mobo and video card I'm giving him.

I had looked into adding a fan but the one fan I had small enough seems like its almost dead and it would be a little tricky to mount.

I think I have a small fan I could hook you up with if you want to go that route. Let's see what Paulie can do for you

IIRC, Rickss69 had a bunch for sale:

Not sure if he has any left or would be willing to let one go cheap...
