Have you guys seen this, that the blocks don't make contact with the gpu and that you need a buy a spacer?

I just read this earlier today while looking around

I hope this is BS!

http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/EK...1109856161.pdf

The install guide shows gpu alignment correctly and it doesn't state anything about a spacer. The EK online store sells nothing like that.

Yeah, EK doesn't mention it so it must be inaccurate, no worries

I'm pretty sure they do the rear exhaust cooler thing to limit returns. Many cases don't have very good airflow.

These were just released yesterday I think, but I'll let you know how it goes when I get it. There is no club yet.

You know that is the first thing I thought when I opened the box. Wow that is one big Squirrel cage fan. They just keep getting bigger and bigger.

My waterblock will be here on the 18th. Hope to have it installed before the weekend.

All done. Looks great. Idle Temps at 31c. Going to run Furmark and see what happens. No leaks, so that's a major bonus.

I did max it out on stock cooler with catalyst, so thats like 1125 and 1575.

Right now I am benching 1250/1750 @ 1.185v with Watercooler. Temps in mid 40's at load.
