COD 2012: it's Treyarch's turn aka Black Ops 2

So when are they going to release information about the upcoming Black Ops 2, it seems like MW3 has been out for ages.

My wishlist for BO2:

- dedicated servers
- dx11
- an overpowered gun I can always use if I can't be bothered trying
- gun game etc game modes
- zombies!
- no more jump-to prone-to shoot

Even though I am not being entirely serious with this, I would still like to gauge people's thoughts on the upcoming COD. Good or bad bring it here.

OMG hopefully not more COD which is more like OCD. Like to think most are playing Skyrim actually in fact today had yet 64k user playing it..

Unless you're playing this game for the story alone, it's an utter waste of money and time. Not hating, just stating a fact.

Haters gonna hate.

Unfortunately, you won't see much in the way of engine or graphical improvements until the next generation of consoles arrive. CoD is an official cash cow, and tons of people love to play, so DX11 is highly unlikely.

Well Black Ops had dedicated servers which was great, dunno why BO2 can't have them as well. Gun game was in BO and it was pretty successful, don't see why they wouldn't include it in the sequel. And I would really love to see going to prone or standing from prone have a penalty, much like in BF3.

Also COD should take atleast a 3 year break to redo the whole entire engine and gameplay then release something that is decent.

Black Ops was terrible! Though my opinion is limited. I played the campaign on Xbox, and it sucked IMO. I played online a little during a free steam weekend, and I felt it was weak.

I hope they scrap that idea and go with something else entirely. I used to like the zombie mode in WaW but this time around, it seemed to lose its appeal.

Agreed, I thought WaW zombies were the best. It had a genuine atmosphere imo. Where as the zombies in BO were still ok, it felt almost overdone. IMO BO was better than MW2 and MW3.
