Sorry to see ya no longer will be doing them. I also noticed how any of the news post you did it would be a fight in no time. I thought it was funny though. You did a good job to me I did not feel as though you were trying to sway me one way or the other. You commented on some things which to me is not a big deal. The news was there and I still have to decide my side of it. Peer pressure was never and issue with me I thank you for you time qubit

I think you should go on to be the anchorman for the BBC news or News at 10. I would love the controversy you would cause compared to the faceless, on the fence, talentless drones they currently employ

Seriously people, I'm overwhelmed by your well-wishes. I knew I had a few friends, but I didn't expect this. You're all awesome (and yes, that includes you, OneMoar, my resident hater ). No wonder I love this place. Don't worry, I'm still gonna be posting in the forums, lol.

I'd do lots more thanking, but I've hit the temporary thanks flood limit again.

Hmmm... good point. I'm still grateful for your comments, even though I usually found them critical in a somewhat annoying way.

Thanks for the kind words, W1zz.

Qubit! I got all nervous that something really bad happened when I saw the post title. I guess I don't have to tell you that differences of opinion are a bitch.

I seriously think your writing style is awesome, I hope whatever you do, put those talents to good use... and also hope you stay in the TPU "fold" in whatever capacity.

Cheers!

You had a writing style that gave some spin to news, you made them become "tasty" with your personal insight, it's not your fault if some haters can't read between the lines and need an objective point of view

One thing made me laugh recently, BTA posted about how HDD manufacturers over played the Thailand floods to make a profit, when Qubit posted about the HDD price hikes a month after the flood and mentioned prices were extortionate people jumped on his back for using that specific word, infact he got a lynching and off a well known gobby out-spoken mod as well, now months later in BTA's post he used the exact same wording...

Haters gonna hate, you can't do much about it, just ignore em
One thing is constructive criticism, which I like because it shows different sides of the same story, sadly qubit posts had only haters and very few that criticized it constructively.

hehe yea I noticed that. But don't forget bta is our chief writer and everyone is accustomed to him and he is respected etc. Plus bta could just ban the people who disagree with him LOL

Apparently TPU is full of sheep that can only be force-fed news a certain way. Qubit's news post were refreshing, and as said before were not the usual cut and paste variety.

Also, N-ster i disagree about BTA. It should not matter who the writer is or the fact that he is respected, the news should be able to be delivered in different fashions. The problem with TPU is that there are elitists that only like things a certain way and to bend from that would be outside thier comfort zone, hence the need for some to troll Q's post's because they didnt like his style or the way he came off. But at least Q had the intellect to back up his positions with fact, rather than some just trolling with meaningless BS.

You missed out a key fact. I posted my personal opinion in the comments, and not in the news post.

Anyway, this thread is qubit's farewell party from the TPU staff, let's not give it that tangent

Oh please. As I said earlier I can get that elsewhere and do not need it here. At least not in the post itself.

And stop insulting people.
