Ohh theyre so amazed by the numbers this "service" software has made. Another bloatware thats what it is and making it a requirement on the release of one of the most anticipated game of the year was dirty move to get in some of that action from steam

i like many have been forced to buy some games on origin, I like the way their turning them forcing me to play my games through origin, into some kinda big success the dicks, i bought B2 bad co on steam then they brought out origin that fecked that game for me on launch day as it dissapeared from my steam list (dicks all of em,dicks)

bought crysis2 2 months prior to launch on origin and despite that and it being tied to that account i still cant play it cos it activates every other load and has hit its activation limit for the 3rd time(im starting to think they are monitoring my spec and slight ocs void the activation?) im considering just cracking the tard of a game but origin would prob shaft me of my other games, the dicks

and despite buying BF3 full pre launch i still cant get rid of the soddin alpha or beta from My games library in it ,yet cant dl em cos they are Not available Yet Ha ha

and why when they have so many publishers signed up is it mostly still NFS sims and BF games + Batman AC

IMHO all online services such as EA and valve should be legislated to force the availabillty of all games on all dl shop fronts then they can truely work to better my experience and make me want to shop there instead of just Makeing me shop there.

rant over im pissed bout crysis 2 tho, long list of shit and ive still not finished it ,despite their effin great cloud storage and syncing crysis 2 saves dont carry over it seems, like soddin valve with many a game , DICKS

Go EA dicks

I can't buy games period. I dont know what it is about my account but I get "Payment authorization failed" EVERY TIME, doesn't matter what PC, or credit card/Debit card I use, I get the same ERROR. I talked to the Live chat and they have no clue.

No, you're wrong
"Steam competitor will be absorbed by Xbox.com" and in this place they referred to GFWL

You don't need Origin for TOR unless you buy it off Origin. TOR runs on it's own launcher. Just buy retail.

9.3m users, but how many log in daily? See, they won't tell you that. Outside BF3 players, it can't be very much.

And if they had played nice with Valve, BF3 would have likely outsold MW3 on PC at least. Was a whole thread on the Battlefield forums months ago about people refusing to buy the game unless it was put on Steam. It was a stupid move by EA. If you want to take on Activision, don't limit your sales channels. You want more sales, not less!

TOR almost met with the same fate. There was talks it would be Origin only but I'm glad BW got smart and ran with their own launcher.

you do NOT need origin to play or download SWTOR, it has its own downloader like any 2Blizzard games, and once its installed, you just launch it like you do with any game.

Ha, at least you all are lucky enough to be able to ACCESS the store. I have to go through all the Proxy/VPN tunneling crap just to make a f*cking account. Origin is blocked where I come from. Took me a week to get Battlefield 3 Running. Gave up on Getting Crysis2 after hearing it was nixed out of Steam.

On a side note, it's kinda ironic to see EA being so hated when Activision isn't part of the subject!

Well the irony behind it is, is that is no better than Ubi's Uplay. It's just an "always on" DRM. Same crap different package. That said I do have a few games on it. What choice do I have if I want EA'a big titles? It's Origin or no play. There is the rub of it and it will continue this way with new EA titles. You want it you gotta play it thru Origin...

in that case don't want - hopefully some bright EA VP will see that, and either re-vamp Origin or kill it outright.
