I use Autodesk Maya along with Autodesk Mudbox for the majority of my work, photoshop i use for compositing layers and getting them ready for final textures,

another quick texture test, going to replace the gibberish there with Deadric Symbols that spell out Dovahkiin across the blade, then ill darken the red further and add a glow map for when its in game.




As for the Video above I did the same thing to Fallout New Vegas except i had Brother Hood of Steel vs the Enclave in a 75 man vs 75 man battle etc that looks to be about the same size, the modder in the video used and it wasnt as in depth aka didnt use it to make videos simply made it for the lulz of a huge battle where as who ever did the battle above had alot of free time to record the needed shots, overall its a damn good video, would rather see it as an actual playable mod tho.

better water flow shader (nice)
horse mounted combat

more assassin skills
become a: super vampire that can fly, a wearbear
lycantrophy perk tree
more follower options (companion preferred equipment, upgrade skills etc)
adopt a kid (pedobear.jpg)
Spears
build your own home
Spell combo (different spells create new effect)
Goblins
Waygate fast travel
Spears
etc.

That video is amazing, I was expecting to see a few great ideas, but almost every single one of them I just kept thinking, "that should be in the game". Hopefully more see this video and just make those additions.

I am loving the workshop. So easy and simply the best way to get mods, epsecially all the minor ones such as those lessening the weight of dragon bones/scales and potions.

The best mod I found so far was that which removes the shivering-concentric-circle shadows while inside Breezehome.

Which town has Breezehome? I only own Solitude and Markarth at present. Didn't bother with White Run as didn't have much gold back then.

Whiterun, it's one of the cheapest if I remember correctly. I had that problem with the concentric-circle shadows in Breezehome, and also in a couple of interior shops in Solitude. I even tested the vanilla game and I get the most awful shadows only in those places.

It's called "Shadow Striping Fix" on the Steam Workshop. And it's created by dWILLb.

Holy crap! why can't we have all of those mods! I hope the mod community makes some of those, i'm trying to learn how to use the CK but every time I do something I break my game

Also I how do you search for mods on the workshop, like can you type in a mod title or do you have to go though all of the pages to find it.

This seems to be the downfall of the steamworkshop in it's current state.
No search function by tet from what I can see and downloading a mod is confusing for someone new to it as you can not see any obvious download button.
Instead yu click the subscribe button which downloads the mod and also whenever you launch Skyrim, the mods you 'Subscribed' to will be scanned to see if they are the latest version which I can see as a potential problem if the modder updates his mod to a borked version.
