Customized Heatsink on MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 460

Recently upgraded my GT 430 to a MSI Hawk Talon Attack GTX 460 that I picked up off of eBay for a good price. The card runs great, but 1 of the two fans did not run. I know I could've filed a complaint, but figured that since I got it for a great price, I would make do. Now I know I could've just bought a replacement fan, but wanted to take it a little further. First thing I did was grind the fins down just a little so that I could place 80mm fans on it (which prevents the cover from going back on, but since the card is installed upside down this wasn't an issue for me). Since I was planning on adding more blue LED's under the GPU anyways, I figured why no just buy 80mm blue LED fans. The fins were widened just enough so that the 80mm fans were pressured fitted, but not so much that the blade would bind. Problem was the edges of the fans facing the center wanted to pop out. I built a 1.75" bracket out of aluminum so that the two fans could be attached to each other and then bent the aluminum upward so that it covered some of the damage from grinding the fins. I then placed a scorpion auto emblem on the bent piece just to dress it up a little. It is stuck on with double sided tape, which is nice, because I can remove it if I want to and replace it with another emblem. The fans were connected to a molex connector and ran straight to the PSU. I like them at 100% and they are quiet. I think it turned out OK and I am happy with it for now (until I can replace the whole heatsink with the one from GELID that runsa 92mm fans). Here are the pics:

Nice but does the card run at PCI-E x16 in that bottom slot on that board? I'm pretty sure that's a x4 slot.

Another thing i noticed is that they would be fighting the PSU for air, that big 140 pull's a lot more air than those 2 80's. I'd bump them up to the top slot if i was you
