Ah well ... if everything corrupts I'll just start over again too.
I'm never competely happy with my characters, so starting over is a pastime.

I just might do that. Sounds like fun.

+1000000 to that.... that's part of my pack-rat mentality: the "Whit if....." scenario.... I guess I'd like the game a little more if I really needed all those resistance potions. But, after a coulpe hundred hours, all I really need are the health, feather, and the occasional stam pot.

The way I manage "potion creep" is to only keep 3 of the best potions of a given type on me (except for healing).
The rest are in a giant pile on the floor in my house along with all the useless magical items I can't seem to bring myself not to pick up.

you can pick pocket the poison onto people i think that or use it to coat your weapon so it causes poison damage onto an enemy, you have to think outside the box a little bit mailman.

Been reading through posts every now and then and I happened to read Bazooka Joe's remedy for micro-stutter. Tried Bandicam but it conflicts with a mod that I installed called Realistic Colors and Real Nights. So I messed with the new Afterburner beta and tinkered with its built in FPS limiter. Lo and Behold after setting it to 64 fps (just thought of using above 60 fps with no particular reason), my problems with micro-stutter and mouse lag seems to have disappeared albeit some minor screen tearing is still visible. Hopefully this helps out with the same problems as I have.

I've noticed that mods I've installed from the Steam Workshop aren't getting in my game. Like Sounds of Skyrim for example. And I also installed a mod to get a quest marker pointing to each "Unusual Gem".. it's not there either. I checked the launcher for any esp or whatever. Nothing.

Don't have to imagine it.... I have to sort out potions and all my equipment into it's own cabinets/barrels/etc. Staves go in the cupboard next to the Alch lab, had to add a couple of chests and saddlebags for storing enchanting potions, lessers, greaters, black stars, all my bows in one chest at the foot of the bed, the swords in the display rack need to be the same size...

Yeah...NV users do have the better setup for this game. I will be joining them soon I think. The below article is old but all may not have seen; Mailman has only had a NV card for couple weeks and Skyrim for even less time. Looks like AO is the only one not available to Radeon users too offhand but thats nothing to sneeze at.

Yes when you "use" a damaging potion it poisons your presently-equipped weapon and delivers that to the enemy on the next hit. So if you "poison" an arrow but miss the next shot it's wasted and need to re-poison. Come to think of it, not sure how it works with a sword in this regard if you just, like, swing at the air. If it's blocked I'm sure the poison is used. Anyone?

not to mention ENB series sucks! Ive tried the top 5 best configurations from the enbseries website and everything is blurry, my ebony armor turned a little purple, and everything turned to fantasy color wise, lighting, etc. And then the worse is the the performance hit.

I'm not sure about the ones you are downloading. But back when I played I downloaded color mods and adjusted all of those settings myself till it was perfect. Most people use too much blue to make the shadows dark, but it turns everything purple.

Wow.....and you wonder why you're at level 10? Dovahkiin hideout has like 50 chests to store crap in, and its accesible from any house you own.

They all die in two power swings for me now. The frost trolls used to be indestructable as far as I could tell, because they would heal as fast as my pitiful weapons could hurt them, and then in three swings I would be dead. And then I learned about smithing and enchanting and making money and using deadric weapons and +40% damage gloves and homemade potions, and my world got so happy.

I troll the frost trolls with a daedric dagger and just do the 15x crit for insta-kills lol it seems funny to make stealth builds all about one hit kills but I guess Skyrim was going for more of an assassin approach to it.

Trolls are a pain until you get decent weapons or spells ... then they all die.

Ya know - I was level 68 when it happened. And I was VASTLY pi$$ed off.

But that char was from the original release version and have lived through each and every patch and hotfix and all the various mission glitches - and I'm sure had actually gotten a little old and cranky in the process.

I decided to try a new game "Just For Shizzles" to try a different race - no intent of actually playing it seriously at all, and I actually started having a total blast - now that I know so much more - starting over has been fantastic fun.

I did NOT do the initial "Speak to the Jarl Of Whiterun" quest after arriving at Riverwood - And thus the "Dragons" portion of the game never started - and instead spent (Game)MONTHS just trolling minor quests and exploring and leveling up - and once I was around level 55'ish and had most of the toys and tricks and spells, and a pile of invisibility potions, and all sorts of other junk I FINALLY "Started" playing the game.

Its SO much more fun to have all the toys available now - Its still not a cake walk - a lot of the missions level up to match you a bit so you still have a challenge but now you can do so many more things - go invisible and get behind ppl, all sorts of junk.

Its been (Still Being) a blast.

the 45% performance from the Driver is a farce... you do realize theres 0% performance gain for most correct? all enhancements were already present in said beta drivers they are comparing performance from the OCTOBER 24th WHQL driver aka Before Skyrim was released to the New Driver, so its a bunch of PR bs the performance your seeing was already there nothing has changed,

as for Ambient Occlusion

Todd Howards team already has REAL AO working in game, not halfassed shit we see from nvidia and ENB series, full Screen Space Ambient Occlusion was already demonstrated and was added to the engine itself which didnt properly support it.
