AFAIK no historical maps but they have some historical events.
IIRC Overlord statement was that they don't want to make nation related maps, only some fictional ones.

And TBH maps don't bother me, lack of gameplay modes, matchmaker and some game engine bugs are my major complains. But in the end I like the game despite those problems.

Use the 88 L71, with crew 100%, and gun rammer, you can deal more damage than the 105. It's not a big deal if you miss a shoot because your RoF is much higher than the 105, and the shells are much cheaper.

At the moment, in my garage I have T92, T30, T34 (waiting for them to be replaced in update 7.2), AMX 13 90 and Type 59, providing I play the type a couple of times each session my credits continue to go up, T30 and T34 swallow most.

I have E-75 and E-50, grinding T-44 (real pain without 100mm gun), M6 to get to T34 and have premium tank. When is that 7.2 update? I heard that KV is changing place to...

Soon™.
Now it's on Supertest, then it will be on regular test server and after that it will be released. On Russian servers first of course and then for us normal peoples.
For EU/NA I'd say at least 3 weeks from now.

Yup, in patch 0.7.3.
KV will be split in two, KV-3 will be moved to Tier 7 and IS-4 to Tier 10. If you have in garage one of those (or two or all three like me) you'll be granted with a free tank with 100% crew for each of them.

I can't wait to test the new crew skills and perks in 7.2!.

My Tiger II crew is trained 100% on all 3 skills now, take me forever, a lot of sweat and tears.

Ah and about T34 Premium. From Supertest info it looks like it will have 1500 HP and RoF 4.7. Same penetration and damage for 120 gun. Earnings similar with Lowe.
And about price around 12000 gold.

To be any good at this game you need to buy cash shop tanks and ammo. Its nothing more then a pay to win game. Iv seen people spend 1000$ into this game just to get the best stuff.

i don't agree, i'm good, and i don't use any gold ammo or consumables.

Clan wars is another story, there if you want to win you have to pay, but i play solo so i don't care

I payed around £40, same as a normal retail game to get 6 months premium account and I have no problem dealing with tier 8 gold tank in my Panther II, Ferdi and JT, I can even earn scray amount of silver due to the massive amount of damage the JT can deal out. I can certainly earn as much as a Lowe in most games.

I've had a premium account and dabbled a little in the upper tier tanks, but the game is just so much more fun with the lower tier battles.

I disagree.
Premium account doesn't give any gameplay advantages. All you receive is 50% more credits and XP thus you can grind faster your desired tank(s).
Premium consumables and ammo are useless in random battles and if you're in Clan Wars you'll have gold for free (of course if your clan hold some provinces) so no money investment.
Premium tanks worth as moneymakers but you can live without them too.

Personally in one year since the game was launched I've bought 2 months of Premium (to reach faster my desired tanks and to fill my bank with credits) and that's it. I'm on standard account now and playing mainly Tier 8-9-10 solo in random battles but also I'm having fun with my Tetrarch/SU-26 or my KV's derpgun.

Also I have nothing against peoples who spend tons of money to get best stuff if they have fun this way. Maybe they don't have time to spare for grinding, maybe they want a Tier 8 Premium for fun, maybe they want more slots in garage/barracks, maybe they want to troll with gold ammo in random battles. Every player has his goals with his time/money but it is not mandatory to reach Tier 10 fast and furious.
IMO in this game you must find your fun and if you like a low tier tank stick with it and have your fun.

From what I have read around the forums, it's likely 7.2 will go live on 20th or 21st of March (if your optimistic) although my guess is that the RU server may get it then and the rest perhaps on 29/30th...... again optimistically!

Yeah, 29/30 March would be my bet too.
WG is notorious about delayed patch dates but at least they're trying to fulfill their statement about patch 0.7.2 released in Q1 2012.
So 30 March is still in Q1 2012.

Unfortunatly though, they did say in early January that it would be released in Feb..... then kind of reverted back to the Q1 (March). There are significant changes in 7.2, in fact it is supposidly the 2nd biggest update since closed Beta..... I will just be glad to get rid of the T30 and T34, although unlike others... I would not dream of having the T34 as a premium tank, especially if it's 120mm loses some RoF, the gun and its rate of fire is almost the only good thing about the tank.

If you're curious about new T9/10 USA tanks or T34 as Premium you can test them. A couple of hours ago 0.7.2 Test server went live.

But I'll keep forever my T34. I like it now and I'm sure that I'll like it more as Premium creditmaker.
BTW some (not nice IMO) game economy changes occur in 0.7.2.
Basically after patch you can reach easy T5/6 but after that you'll need some Premium stuff to get your dream T9/10 tank because they nerfed T5-7 income.

i got it going now. Its not to bad. I need a tank with some pep. Last one I had was way to slow for me. I did get a kill tho 2nd time playing.
