HD6770 + HD6850 possible?

Hello. I know you can crossfire two ati cards from same core family. Is this combination possible (6770+6850) and what kind of performance gain can I expect?

I dont think so mate unless somebody here knows a hack. If youve got the two cards, try it and see what happens.

Yes, you can. All you'll need is this motherboard.

http://www.techspot.com/news/39479-m...ydra-chip.html

But instead of doing that, you could;

a. Sell 6770 spend a little more and buy a 6850.
b. Sell 6850 save a little and buy a 6770.
c. Sell both and get something else
