Wish they'd just make this standard on all their cards, but then they couldn't charge $10 bucks for it.

This is like selling fridges to the Eskimos... pointless. They should just stick these on all cards as standard. But i guess they all employ morons without basic knowledge of thermodynamics...

Nothing happened. I never planned on buying two, but with the store's return policy, I figured I would give two a shot and see if I wanted to spend the extra money on it. Seems like a single GTX 680 works just fine for me at my current resolution, so I'd rather have the $500 for other things.

I received my new hi flow back plates from EVGA yesterday:
![]() Here's a comparison between the stock plate and the hi flow plate: ![]() After installation on one of the 680s, the stock one on bottom: ![]() Now, I want to make a disclaimer, this is in no way a scientific test, just my personal experience, this is stock temp at idle: ![]() Idle temp after installing the hi flow plate: ![]() That's a 5 degrees change! will upload temps at load later, but however you cut it, this is a win! In conclusion, I approve this upgrade: ![]() Any of you guys received a new plate from EVGA? Please share your experience!
