How is their rebate program? I have never tried to get a rebate from them actually I dont think I have ever bought but 1 fan of their make.

Little late i just picked up some more COUGAR CF-V12HP, although i am 100% the are better fans but shit FREE who gives a ****...

There is some complaints on egg about there rebates. Not checked but rebates might be limited to 1 person like a lot are.

This special has literally been running the last 3-4 months and I don't think anyone has received a rebate. It's been all over Slickdeals for a few months now. Everyone says to avoid it because you will NOT see the rebates. So YMMV, is it worth the risk to you?

I was considering taking this offer, but I am wondering about the chances of the rebate actually paying out considering the comments on Newegg. I have completed about a hundred rebates in the past decade and received every one of them, so I am wondering if the people who did supposedly did not receive the rebate are impatient or filled out the form incorrectly or if this is a systematic problem with Xigmatek's rebate processing center.

Many complain about not receiving rebate ... fine print seems to limit quantity to 1 / item / household / offer.

Just send an email to them if you don't get a rebate within the quoted time. I once didn't receive a rebate from XION and I emailed them 2 years later. They mailed it out in two days. Luckily I had a scan of the UPC/rebate/invoice on my computer.

I'm sorry to bump an old thread but I wanted to help some fellow googlers (this pops up when googling "xigmatek rebate problems").

Xigmatek does NOT send rebates until you hassle them about it. On top of that, the fine print on the rebate forms say a minimum of 12 weeks from 15 days after the promotion ends (post mark date cutoff). This puts the rebate minimum time at 16 weeks for most of us.

The way xigmatek does this is by not mailing anyone a rebate. If you call and complain or email after 16 weeks, you may get a response and MAY get your rebate, but ONLY if you call them or email them. This is extremely horrible and evil of them as they are actually banking on people forgetting they requested a rebate.

. It's not worth it. I say save your time (too precious) and to work those extra hours and buy a proper fan.
