I wish you could control the followers in a much more detailed tactical manner, but you can't. So be it.

Best to pick a follower that is good at what you are lacking in to get a nice balance as a team.
I pick them based on how pleasant they are to look at, not the best method.

Whrere can I find Daedra Heart? I already clear that level with the black gem where you can re-use to fill in souls. I managed to get some hearts when I was inside the soul gem but that wizard pulled me out too fast to get more.

While that mod looks interesting, it doesn't appear to allow for control during battles (like when and what spell to cast or who to attack).

Might try it anyway just to check it out.

Yeah, I don't know of any like that. I kindof like just going lone wolf, either that or having a personal army, lol. That mod adds some good stuff like dual wielding for followers, and riding too. By the time my follower catches up to me they'e usually just in time to watch me throw the body in the river.

Maybe we will see that someday, but I almost kind of doubt it. It seems a bit to RTS-ish, hopefully there will be improved AI for them at some point, and maybe allow them to cast healing spells on you.

At 2am my game just DL'd a 7.5mb patch, I can't find any info on it yet though.

Well, my framerates are suddenly totally crappy. I installed a DOF mod, and my frames suddenly droped from 55-60 to 8-12. Unplayable. Kindof making me mad, cause I want DOF and I've tried several now and ENB seems to completely kill my fps.

been out of the loop for quite a while (about skyrim)...

Can someone tell me if I should update to skyrim 1.5 and to the latest AMD drivers... how's the performance on those?

Last I played I think I had patch 1.4 with 12.1 amd drivers

Ok, I need help here.

I just "re-installed" windows 7, and now I can't play Skyrim anymore... I guess I have to re-install the game...

I'm not very familiar with "steam". can someone tell me how to "re-install" the game?
Also, one of the most important mods I was using is "the fxaa post-processing" mod... the one that turns on and off when you press the pause button... I think it replaces one of the install .dll ...

Will that mod still work with the 1.5 version of the game ???

If you don't have a backup of your steam app folder, you will need to log into Steam and tell it to reinstall the game (and any other games from Steam that no longer work).

I would recommend getting the latest versions of the game. Most of the more popular mods have been updated or did not use something the 1.5 update changed.
