help 560ti faulty? or something else

Hiya guys n gals

right built my rig (in the specs) start of the year so january(ish), i have been having a few problems with it some just beginning to happen, sometimes when i sit and watch a film/tv via media center or video on youtube the computer locks up and the screen artifacts as can be seen in the pic attached. My question is this my gpu (bought start of 2012 brand new) on its way out already or could it be something else? It is a ASUS 560ti TOP (stock 900mhz oc)

the power supplies a corsair tx650

things i have tried:

* pulling card out and reseating
*expelling the very little dust in it
*disconnecting and reconnecting firmly the two 6 pin pci-e cables
*running afterburner (passes)
*playing games (few major artifacts in battlefield 3 but read it was down to performance/driver bugs than card) usually plays fine
*drivers (latest nvidia off site) happened in last drivers /last betas i tried aswell)

Also when i go to overclock my rig it sits stable and passes ibt on max 20-50 passes and runs for 3-5hours then suddenly shuts off and restarts? could the GPU be causing this?, everything runs fine stock, thinking it could be RAM failure instead of the gpu i ran memtest today for a few hours both boot disc and in windows and it finds no errors

help please

It seems a few people have been having these issues with GTX 560ti's. I also have an Asus GTX560ti, touch wood it hasn't displayed any of these abnormalities yet.

I'm with Brandon, I think you should RMA as soon as possible. Good luck matey.

I'm having driver problems with my 560ti448 right now. Drivers are corrupted and my card is not clocking to full speeds. Unable to install any driver. Problem started when I installed the newest beta driver.

weird, my factory OC'ed 570gtx isnt affected like that, but i saw few factory OC'ed 580gtx users reporting that. And yes all said it started with latest 301.24.. Gpu not entering full 3d freq. but voltage does, or something lke that.. Btw did you force Adaptive vsync in global profile? One user said he fixed this low freq. bug when he disabled Adaptive vsync in global profile.

@white phantom

yes that pink screen or PSOD named by some started with 296.10, some say its fixed with 301.24..

Also 295.73whql are without this issue.

And its mostly 460/560TI gtx users that suffer form this bug.. Imo it was a "fix" for TDR - driver stopped responding, again happening mostly to 460/560Ti gpus, and somehow caused this side effect - PSOD

My problem is related to a corrupted physx instalation that has jacked up my system 3d registry. I've been trying many new drivers lately.

Fresh install of OS coming soon.

On guru 3d some members have reported the PSOD or dots. It has also been said, like others have mentioned, that the new beta drivers are causing issues for some.

I used to have a GeForce 7900 GT and at the end of its life it was showing rainbow colored dots, and not small dots, but large semi-transparent blotches on the display in any mode. Each blotch was only 1 color but they all varied in color. It ended up being that the video memory was failing.
