When used with MSI's exclusive Afterburner overclocking utility, gamers can control the power limit and clock offset for better overclocking capability. The card is also equipped with advanced fans speed control based on GPU temperature. Afterburner supports the free video/audio capturing function Predator and can even use smart phones to control the graphics card in desktop machines. When combined with the Kombustor burn-in testing function, it is an indispensable tool for enthusiasts looking to get the most out of their graphics card.

Support for Single-Card 3D Vision Surround Technology
Apart from supporting the latest DirectX 11 technology, the MSI GTX 680 Twin Frozr/OC graphics cards has the ability to enable NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround using three 3D monitors and 3D glasses with just a single card. looks like have retained the ref. pcb along with that 'stacked' connector and the TFIII shroud seems to fit ok ..

probably one of the first reviews for this card done @ TT..
I am not sure of that optimistic 22C lower claim.. but review shows 6-8 deg cooler than ref. which is pretty good!

cant wait to see the Lightning version..

So MSI enables 2x dual link DVI for this but used 2x single link DVI on the 7970 lightning? I cant believe they didnt have at least one dual link DVI on the 7970 lightning....what a crap decision.

The Twin Frozer is a excellent design. I have a MSI 560TI Twin Frozer II and it is silent under load! Idles at 26C, load is never more than 55C. Room temp ~ 19C.

why dont you stop beating off to pr0n and step outside your parents basement, Plenty of females outside, maybe you might get lucky with one. way better then any 2D experience...In fact you'll probably love it so much you wont return home, get a job earning a modest wage, have a drink with the lads after work then going home and bang the hot nerd chick from accounting.

Didn't Guru3D do a review, and it wasn't much of a upgrade of the reference version. Not that is such a bad thing since the reference version is pretty epic if you ask me.

I think the idea behind this card is to make it run alot cooler and quieter than the stock variant
that is a good policy for graphics cards

Given the premium they are going to charge for this card - the Accelero might be a nice option.

Dont forget that the Accelero isnt a dual slot cooler so people who are planning to get 2 of this for SLi might have a problem unless their mobo has 3x 16/8x PCI-E slots so they can space them out a little

But there won't be any-none of those Nvidia engineering built units probably ever available. Maybe later like months from now, but $500 dollar cards are for now someone else's pipe dream.

While this is still not available in the USA, and I guess on a $540 price when it does show. I don't care how many AIB's show off their customs. It coming up on a months now and I don't find any in the wild, this is getting mind-numbing.
