Just watched live CD Projekt RED spring conference and the great news is that Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition is free via update for all PC owners of the original game. It's 10GB +.
preload on 11 Apr launch on 17 Apr. This is fresh news, check other sources. Other nice suprises from this great company!

In all seriousness that's great service, I hope it signifies a change in how companies are interfacing with the modern PC gamer. More free stuff and less console ports would be very much welcomed all round.

They dropped all DRM they said.
Also they already did that (free enhanced) with witcher 1.

I just installed the latest update it corrupted my game file and I am screwed now... such bs. I lost my cd keys ages ago.

How do you continue the preload? I got the enhance edition downloader from the game's website and now it says one file is corrupt so it can't continue the installation?

Steam is all auto man. If you mean the game? Just give steam your key and steam will accept it or if you don't have a key you can buy the game from steam store.

ya know, game file sizes i feel are getting excessive. I mean most of us have the space for it but still, 21gb for a whole game? i mean skyrim requires(according back of box) 6gb, metro 2033 12gb. I mean for a whole 10-15gb more than the average great game today, what is it bringing to the table with all that data? this is a real question because i'm just trying to figure out how a company could make a game that require almost double the average data requirement and not be phenominal. Is witcher 2 really 21gb worth of awesome?

Once downloaded it's only 10.5GB so it must be just the down loader giving incorrect information. However when the update is installed the game is 17.5 GB and if i remember right it was around 10.5GB.

If the installer fails at some point you will have to download the files you think it might be. I had a issue with mine which was either the 3rd or 4th file so i re downloaded them again to fix installer error.

Or did you uninstall the game ?, dunno if that removes the key or not.

redownloaded part 1 and 2 in my case, problem fixed about the corrupted installer

Yes, those who got corrupted install had to download those two files manually.
My launcher simply couldnt connect. Also had to download manually (not that I care).
Oh CDPR, I love you! Time to do two replays...
P.S.
So now we got best looking game on teh 360.

My launcher simply couldnt connect. Also had to download manually (not that I care). Oh CDPR, I love you! Time to do two replays... P.S. So now we got best looking game on teh 360. __________________ His will be done.
