I just saw the preview for the movie Battleship. Based on the battleship, small island, and forcefield containment field thing... I think this movie has taken some ideas from crysis. So almost crysis the movie?

I was just saying I got that impression. The preview instantly made me think of crysis. I wanted to see what the community here thought. Obviously not quite what I got.

Crysis is a crappy story...correction, its an 80's B flick story, so i'd hope no movie would copy it unless they want to lose money.

I have not played crysis in awhile. In hindsite the preview did seem like a transformer movie too.

I did really enjoy crysis, but not crysis 2. We will see if I play crysis 3.

Whats more similar to Crysis is the movie Battle: LA, similar alien creatures. When watching the movie I kinda thought it happened in parallel with Crysis 2's Invasion of New York. But LA doesnt have a Nanosuit Corp nearby
