Just thought I would point it out. A thread on bad adds on TPU is just bad.

well everything else looks good in the forum, only avoiding general nonsense area, so far rules were post girls pic no nude and stuff, then posted my daughters pic (of course with clothes) and got removed (lol I wouldn't even mind posting our marriage certificate and my daughters birth certificate as proof just in case he thinks I'm messing around also add in family pic ^_^), don't know what logic was used there, even pm'ed a mod and ask and still no reply until now, but so far on the other section mods are doing a fantastic job.

You know... doing something like that can get you into a lot of serious trouble in the US if someone decided to call CPS (Child Protective Services), especially with the new CISPA bill that is about to pass that'll allow Big Brother and Uncle Sam to access all of your digital data?

With regards to avatars, it would most likely be a sound policy for TPU to ban pictures of known minors completely to avoid legal issues.

Someone should indicate, posting of one's family maybe unsafe.

If this is off topic, as to what moderator staffs responsibilities should include, then please remove my comments.

Nothing in that thread said go pirate games. It was the start of a good discussion on what Game Companies are doing. How they perceive the market and how the market perceives them. Just because a post contains the word "pirate" does not make it PRO or ANTI, just a discussion.

At the root of all this we have Politics, Copy Right Laws, and Government. All VALID topics. Especially on a Tech site that is related to Hardware AND Software.

These are all topics that can be found in other threads. I don't find this particular thread helpful or otherwise in any way. From what I can see it's an unintelligent ranting/excuse thread as to why or why not on the subject. If any other moderator/administrator wants to overrule my decision, it doesn't matter to me. But the way I see it, it closely relates to post #2 within that thread and isn't needed here. Of course, you could of PM'd me.. But I would of told you the same thing.

My bad if i was supposed to PM you. I guess I noticed how quickly all the mods jumped on that thread and it bothered me that the stance was so strict.

I think it was jumbled and odd reading because OP was using a translator.

Don't want to see every thread that questions the integrity of the software industry to get stamped out because someone mentioned piracy.

If that isn't the case and it was just because of redundant threads, then that's cool.
