Check out these very special hardcore cases
Some people dare to sell such cases in the open market, it's taken from an local internet advertisement board where i live. There are plenty of old crap on sale like, but this has to be the top advertisement in recent years.
![]() ![]() ![]() Where some people would be ashamed of selling such stuff even for free, others, like the owner of these nice cases, charge money for it! |

I could probably buy them and make some cool case mods? I mean look at them, there is plenty of room to work with, lots of open space...

a lot of people drop off old crap like that at our door to recycle. they are often so dirty that you don't even want to open them.. and you can tell that they belonged to someone who smokes.

The second one looks like it fell off the truck on its way to the dealer.

last week i found some old internet cafe cases on the trash in the vicinity of my neighborhood, I picked it up and felt like a totally homeless slob, but I just kept it in the garage, still researching about modding, as i'm going to use it to experiment and stuff which can give me more ideas on modding.(beginner) as it's better to have first hand experience and it's free so yeah.

This.
I used to run my Athlon stuff in a case similar to that last one; It has excellent space for a radiator mount, and is quite rigid. Most of the P2 stuff is ATX spec, so the cases are still good. The compaq and HP's are crap though. Take it apart, clean it up, give it a nice coat of paint and you can have a decent looking, easily moddable (though very hard to cut), disposable learning case. Keep an eye out for the Power button though, AT spec was on/off, while ATX power buttons are temporary.

I wonder what the 3DMAN Rodney Reynolds would say..
![]() - hello again i am Rodney Reynolds from 3dgameman.com and welcome to another video review; today i am looking at the HP Compaq Fallout edition mid tower case. Now this case did not come with a box, since it is oriented into budget level market, and is meant for people with the most basic needs. Needless to say that the Fallout edition makes it in many ways a very unique case... |
