Call of Duty: Black Ops II Reveal Trailer Posted

While the Cold War, assassination attempts at President Kennedy, and over the top action filled the premise of the 2010 smash hit Call of Duty: Black Ops; unmanned aerial weaponry, often autonomous, will fill up Black Ops II, Activision's autumn-winter blockbuster. The worldwide reveal trailer mentions the campaign's storyline to take place in 2025, the future, when there's huge proliferation of unmanned weaponry (≠ robots, so no conflict with the Terminator universe), and that the "keys" (control over these machines) fell into the wrong hands (and the US stopped making kill-switches for its military equipment). The game promises some pretty over the top action over futuristic settings, some of which remind us of Syndicate (which is set even further into the future).

COD was always more fun than BF i just wish it was on the cryengine thats its only down fall but i guess game play is better than graphics.

Ill just say this treyarch makes good games but activision are cheap wankers and wont play for a engine upgrade.

They wont upgrade the engine because that is not a game engine, that is a vitrual money-printing machine. That's what it is for them.

But, treyarch are the ones that always takes the sharp turns on every COD title of their's. And in my honest opinion i would like to get games like W@W, BO and a futuristic COD over MW recycled over and over. So that's a BIG plus point for them.

Still, nothing will convince me that the gaming experience on this game will be different from the first BO.
Another point is that treyarch may be using the same old engine but it seems like they are always the ones to push the graphics detail further then IW's CODs like they did with BO that IMO just looks better then MW3. The downside for that is that the PC port can come out with various issues and bugs, mainly performance issues like there were when BO came out.

After I watched it when it was posted on facebook earlier by IGN, I just sat their and was like what the hell did i just watch. The game looks AWFUL!!!! Blackops 2 Future warfare? Blackops 1 was cold war! they made a big jump. THe graphics also look worse then any CoD ive every seen. This will be the year CoD dies.

The trailer doesn't tell a lot about the graphics. worse then any other COD? even 2? i suggest you to plunge back into COD4 for that "oh.. well..." moment just to remind yourself the difference between this:

Well typically CoD trailers make the game look a lot better then what it really turns out to be. Frankly if this trailer is any indication, well I might as well just wipe shit all over the screen.

I have absolutely no problems with the CoD engine, i think it looks realistic and good enough.
I do, however, have PROBLEMS with CoD set in future with robots.

Just when I said I wouldn't buy another COD.. Then they make it futuristic.. and I'm back on the COD train!

I didn't buy MW3.. My brother got it for me for christmas to play multi player.. I think I've played multi player with him twice.. I suck.. lol I just can't play multi player MW3 over BF3 multi player..

I just started playing the single player and it's good.. just not great...

But COD in he future! I'm a big sucker for anything fps in the future.. hehehe I hope it does really bad and they overhaul the graphics engine for the next one.

Then they make it futuristic.. and I'm back on the COD train! I didn't buy MW3.. My brother got it for me for christmas to play multi player.. I think I've played multi player with him twice.. I suck.. lol I just can't play multi player MW3 over BF3 multi player.. I just started playing the single player and it's good.. just not great... But COD in he future!
