xytras if u can put a fan in the side of ur case as close position at the gfx as possible it helps feting both cards with fresh old air.

i do this with even only one GTX 680 and i can see the temp difference when i turn off the fan.

Thats a no go. The NZXT Switch 810 has no cut outs on the side panel for that.

u saw that when i check the case ^^;

i have used a PCI-E x1 flex riser back in the back for my audio card it worked well just wished i bought it with a 90 degree angle on it, but other than that it worked well, and i have considered to use one again if i would do SLi on my Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z/Gen3 some day.

Ok. Got the PCI-E Riser... And its a no go. It's physically to big and it touches the mobo... so I'm stuck with what i got.

Just keep an eye on temperatures and you'll be fine, I wouldn't sandwich two cards but if you have no other choice then there's not really much you can do.
Anyway Kepler and Tahiti aren't hot as older gen architectures so you shouldn't be reaching more than 85+ degrees.

Another idea would be to use a cooler like a Thermalright HR-03 GTX (Or something like that) and mount it in the reverse position.

Ya that's a good idea. I think I'll end up with a 690. Benchmarks look decent and is pretty much the same price. Now I just need to find one to buy hah.
