xytras if u can put a fan in the side of ur case as close position at the gfx as possible it helps feting both cards with fresh old air.
i do this with even only one GTX 680 and i can see the temp difference when i turn off the fan.

Thats a no go. The NZXT Switch 810 has no cut outs on the side panel for that.

i have used a PCI-E x1 flex riser back in the back for my audio card it worked well just wished i bought it with a 90 degree angle on it, but other than that it worked well, and i have considered to use one again if i would do SLi on my Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z/Gen3 some day.

i ran them on dd torture rack and with no fans at all
and they never over heat

Ok. Got the PCI-E Riser... And its a no go. It's physically to big and it touches the mobo... so I'm stuck with what i got.

Another idea would be to use a cooler like a Thermalright HR-03 GTX (Or something like that) and mount it in the reverse position.
