None of the actual graphs are loading up for me but, it reads like this thing (their second tier card) can compete with the AMD/Ati Flagship!

I don't fully trust Tweaktown's reviews. It's almost unanimously agreed amongst reviews that the 7970 comfortably beats the 680 in Metro 2033 but TT puts the 680 even.

edit: if all these benchies stand out to be true ...amd is in for a serious headache!

if these benchmarks turn out to be true. Its going to be a wake up call to AMD, and make it extremely hard for me to chose between the 670 and 680

See... you have to remember though that the benchs shown for the HD 7970 were done on launch day.... and AMD's Drivers have improved a lot since then. The scores shown for the HD 7970 are not exactly accurate now at this time.
You also have to take into account that the HD7970 is way underclocked. This is proven with the fact that AMD is changing the reference model to be a "1Ghz Edition" and raising the base clocks. Because of AMD releasing first a lot of the benchs review sites are using for comparison are the ones from launch and a very immature 7970 card. Sure a response might be something like "so is the GTX 680/670's reviews on a immature driver." Well I would respond to that by saying.... Yes that's true... but we all know AMD's Drivers suck until a few months after launch and that the card doesn't act anywhere near it's capabilities until then. Also Nvidia's drivers and architecture have had an extra 3 to 4 months to mature. Of course it will show better on launch. But if you compare benches from a 12.3 or 12.4CCC to these results I am sure you will get a much different result. Showing a HD 7970/7950 benching much higher than shown. Also take it from someone who owned both sets of cards (GTX 680/HD 7970) these cards are a lot closer then you think. I real in real world comparison the GTX 670 will be right where it should be.... competing with the HD 7950. If one doesn't believe me.... look at the Benching sites here at TPU and other places.... the HD 7970 regularly is trading blows if not beating the GTX 680. Now Nvidia needs to release their performance drivers to catch up. I am just stating some facts before everyone gets all excited with seeing these benchmarks. Both AMD's and Nvidia's cards are awesome this gen. I'm just telling you the results are a lot closer between them then what is shown here.

None of the graphs are appearing. Were they gagged or something?
One way or another though, AMD have a headache. They weren't doing too badly with their graphics division, but now that it's slipping too, the company could hit a crisis point and their long term future might not be so great.

If the internet rumors are true of a stock 670 priced at $350 and OC versions at $399 then the 670 is a clear winner for the midrange/performance market. It looks to be almost on par with a 7970. Incredible.

going buy other sites scores for the 7970, this card should trade blows with the 7970 with the latest drivers IF the tweaktown review isn't bs on the scores for the 670(and I don't like tt)
still if its real then i don't know what to say, they shouldve called it the 675, this card was probably planned when the GK110 was meant to be the real 680 before they changed their minds, I don't see any other way nvidia could come up with it as this card will suck down the sales of the 680. Since Tweaktown isn't held to any NDA (recall their well documented issues with NVIDIA when they published the 680 review early), I would bet these are legit numbers. The high traffic messed their site up last time, too. TT is slow even without heavy traffic

I wonder why nvidia didn't make a dual gpu with this card, it would have ran cooler and quieter, and probably within 10-20% of the gtx690, on a pcb the size of most single gpu's, and they could price it at $700-800 which would have been more reasonable, and there'd be more availability on it

i dont think amd would be too worried. i mean, who buys a 7970 and leaves it at stock? i would think vast majority would overclock it.

And those who have a GTX 670/680 would just leave their cards at stock?

good for people who already bought it but for people looking for a new card who will OC, or for people not willing to OC the gtx680 and gtx670 are way better choices

If this is true and the price is $399 (= ~399€) then a custom cooled version of this card ( MSI Tw.F III or maybe ASUS D.CU II... ) will be my next upgrade.

The main problem is $ = €. 400 EUR is just too expensive. I don't know what they are thinking with current series. They are fast but then again transition from HD4000 to HD5000 series was a factor of 2x and they weren't this bloody expensive. Same goes for NVIDIA even though it was slightly more expensive than AMD (ATI)...
