Also, as a side note and what isn't mentioned above, the fans DO come sleeved in black.

Look at this, 20 inches of sleeved cable. No more screwing around with finding creative ways to route your fan cables, no more extensions. YAR!

By chance are the fan blades going to be able to detach for better cleaning? No yellow?

No yellow. I wanted some too. The fan blades are detachable... with some ingenuity...

Unhappy

When will these Fans be avaible in Germany? or at all? I just could find the 140mm Version on amazon.com but not the 120mm...and none of them in any German Hardwareshop!!

Thx

Thumbs up

Ok thanks! That´s good to know. 4 of them will be mine then!
I always wanted to change the standart fans of my Phantom Tower, but I didn´t want just to but any LED-Fans in it. So I was very happy about the announcement on the NZXT homepage!

Just wondering are the Led fans on all the time or can you turn the led off when say watching a movie and don't want lights?

The old FS200 LED has been with a button to turn LEDs on/off. BUt watching preview videos on youtube about the FZ LED series it seem like they are always on.

Darn if I get one it will have to be none Led then as I have a NZXT Tempest and one of my top 140mm fans is making strange noise like its rubbing against something, I checked and it's not hitting anything must be internal.

You might be able to using sewing machine lubricant on the bearings. Not too much, just a drop or so should clear that up.

If you want to buy a non LED Fan you should better take one of the FX series. They have more speed control options so you can better adjust them to the temperature development!

That would be a nice feature/option in the Sentry line of fan controllers. The blue fans in my crunchers dim/brighten with the fan controller.

A little kit to break into the fan wiring with front mounted off buttons just under the levers on the next Sentry revision would be a great addition (don't think anyone else does it)

That would be nice instead of the common average of like what 18-2200 rpm ? If we can get higher for more cfm that would be nice. Most ppl that have tons of fans are probably already running a fan controller to monitor and control due to sound and temp. Just my $.02.

A fan controller with lil buttons next to each fan nob (or nob can also be a button and rotary) to turn of leds would be awesome.

Check out their enthusiast FX fan series - they have this lil switch that controls the RPM. Personally Id rather plug it into a fan controller all together

Thanks Freedom. They look much better in means of specs. I love the look of these FZ series but wish they had the performance of the FX. FZ 140 83.6 cfm / FX 140 49.1-98.3 cfm. To me theres a difference, That is they do run at suggestive specs. Maybe the fan blade style on the FZ can perform like the FX. It'll prob just snap apart (Which I highly doubt). I just wonder why they made them like that.

Trying to decide between them two is going to be tough. Do I want to go with performance or looks? hmm. You can have your cake but you can't eat it I guess lol.
