Marshall Doesn't Fear the Dark, Releases Major Pitch Black Headphones

Marshall has now made available a new version of the Major headphones, the Pitch Black edition which is obviously painted black and swaps the vinyl-covered headband of the Major Black with one wrapped in sturdy (black) denim.

Designed for all-day use, the headphones feature super soft cushions, a fully collapsible build (enabling easier transportation), 40 mm speakers, an in-line mic and remote, a frequency response of 20 to 20 kHz, an impedance of 32 Ohms, and a 3.5 mm connector (a 6.3 mm adapter is included). The Major Pitch Black is backed by a one-year warranty and costs $135 / 120 Euro.

For that price I'd at least want virtual surround!

I wonder how they sound. They look like they will feel good on the ears for a long time like stated.

If they are anything like premium Ibanez headsets then they should sound AWESOME! I got a free pair (60$ value) when my dad purchased my ibanez guitar and the sound quality was phenomenal! I wished I still had them but after ripping the cord out twice and breaking one side off they were tossed. If I could get another pair and combine it with a clip on mic, I would sell my Plantronics in an instant

I know NOTHING of sound stuff. Ive been using a set of Bose for about 5 years now and they don't sound that good but they are TOUGH. Anymore I'm about duribility then I am "the 1337" sound. However I wish I could get a set of headphones that sounded better and were as tough as these Bose. Paid 190 bucks for these and they have lasted well. Had some better sounding one before but they broke apart in less then 6 months.

i'd rather have headphones that sound good, than a useless feature that would only hinder positional audio in most games.
