SB I7 voltage?

I was wondering what some of you experienced Intel SB users would recommend for a 5.0GHz 24/7 overclock?

I'm running a 2700K atm with the voltage at 1.375v and nothing else touched in the bios.
Oh I have all the power management options disabled so this thing is running @ 5ghz constant.

I was gonna say keep it under 1.4V but you are already there anyways

Also you may as well leave all the power options running, it shouldn't cause stability issues.

I know you should know this, but if all other power settings are on auto, they very well may be changing

Thanks Sneeky

I know about Amd's power management but Intel's I know nothing about.

I know one thing, this board when it down clocks to 1.6GHz the voltage stays at a constant and doesn't drop like the other Asus lower end board I was using did

Whats up with that?

Mine does, but I manually go in and enable all of the C-states and power management functions. I know mine isn't a tremendous drop but I go from 1.368V to 1.08V at idle.

There should be like an advanced CPU features section.

I then enable CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)
C3/C6 State support
Thermal Monitor
CPU EIST

Where's the fun in enabling the Thermal Monitor

I'll go now and see if the bios has a few of those features

Just keeps things from going "POP" unexpectedly

How are you measuring voltage drop? Are you sure the application you're using is reporting accurate numbers? My 3820 drops its speeds but CPU-Z doesn't measure a voltage drop even though it shows the frequency drop. However if you use Throttlestop it shows the voltage changing but it's not reporting the correct voltage. Maybe something similar is happening to you where the voltage really is dropping. What kind of load and idle temperatures are you getting?
