I just got my beta for the heck of it. I'll try the game. Can anyone tell me a little more about this game.
Edit: nvm. There is a video explaining itself during registration. For an mmo I like the sound of it. Mmo's are usually not for me.

My usually username is taken also... dang. My secondary is open. It is always open. j8j8a8

They are basically implementing a Cash Shop for extra aesthetics (Costumes, etc.) for your character, while also charging a subscription fee for the game itself. Funcom has said they refuse to put a Pay-To-Win Model in place, and everything in the Cash Shop will be purely aesthetic.

How is this game? I've yet to play it. It takes forever to patch every time I open it and then it can't connect to server. Its getting really annoying. I'm at the verge of giving up on this one.

Ohhhh this looks good!

Looks......but then it started off with EA which probably means INSTALL ORIGIN!

But then again, if this game is as good as the trailer appears then origin will have to make its way on to my machine.

Signed up for the BETA.
Hopefully I get the chance to give it a go.

There is no required Origin installation. I can only say this for the Beta, but at this point Origin isn't too terrible. I basically consider it my BF3 launcher, and even when playing BF3 you only have to look at it for about 5 seconds. I haven't read anything about the game requiring Origin at launch.

First, it downloaded 25GB. Then cannot connect to authentication servers. Is this due to the fact it will be open on weekend? Another worrying aspect is the EA logo...
