Hey dark, you may want to update that line in red in the OP.
CAPs are also for single card setups; they are called Catalyst Application Profiles, not Crossfire Application Profiles which is a misconception.

Finally an update, as added in the OP, only WHQL non beta drivers need to install this, if you're using the 13.5 betas, do not install.

Not to make a huge argument, then why would AMD state on the download page that lists all the drivers and other software, state that the CAPs should not be installed with the 13.5 Betas? They stated the same thing with the 13.3 Betas too.

I did drop them an email asking about single card setups as that only really posts for Crossfire users, but I don't remember with the 13.3s there being anything Crossfire specific. Wouldn't be terribly surprised though if it didn't affect performance as all, just double up on info already provided in the driver.
