Since you have no idea what I was going through I'll just take your trolling as a sign you care. Thanks TMM, you've been a good friend.

Now get your sorry ass to my party on the weekend of July 7th. I'm sick of your emo "I can't afford it" posts.

Kreij, if I could be at that party I would mate. The internet doesn't normally allow you to see how "good" a person is but it's obvious from the various posts on here that many, many people on here feel the same as I, you are an all round top guy.

I'm not religious but I wish all of the goodwill I can muster for yourself and your family. You CAN beat this my friend and turn this around.

I hope you all have a great time on the 7th, I will be there in spirit (spirits? )

Edit: Also driving from Florida to Wisconsin with 3 women and a baby.........I think I rather deal with Chemo.

My final post in this thread.

It's been over 2 months since they stopped chemo because the side effects were too severe and I am finally free of them.
All the tests so far are giving negative results for cancer or tumors.
I have my life back again, I feel great, and I plan on kicking ass for a long time to come.

But that's not why I posted ...

Many people think that TPU is just another tech sight, and for many perhaps it is.
But for the members who have been here for years and have taken the time to get to know each other, for better or worse, know that when things get bad you can always count on them to hold you up in the face of adversity through their thoughts, prayers or actions.

W1zz created a community of tech enthusiasts, but the regular members took it to another level and made it a place where despite our differences and our opinions, the sum of the TPU members as a whole has become greater than the sum of the individuals.

I would like to individually thank everyone who gave me support during my trials with cancer, but that is basically impossible as the response was overwhelming. All the staff, all my friends here on TPU and so many people I don't even know, posted or PM'd their support and their personal experiences.
I have no words that would do justice to thank you all.

More people will need support as time goes on ... all I ask is please be there for them as you were for me.

I just want to say, Thank you all and God bless you for everything you have done. It made a big difference.
You guys/gals are the best and never let anyone tell you differently.

Dean

Kreij, I am so glad it's turning around for you. I have a friend who is going through it now. He has a spot in his pancreas and his liver. I see him everyday and have seen the effects, the up's and downs. So I basically know what you went through. Thank god it is over for you and you can get on with and long and great life. Take care my friend.

Well, that's

Glad to hear you're cancer-free! Along with the others here, I knew you could pull through it and come out clean.

Kreij, it's great for you to express your thanks to the community, but in a lot of ways we should be thanking you. Even at your worst during this whole ordeal, you logged on to let us know how you were doing. You replied to PMs and kept at your duty as a mod. You didn't let something like cancer kill your spirit and you kept sharing that spirit with us. The strength, perseverance, and sheer willpower you had to push through this is amazing. What's more amazing is you found the extra strength to share that experience with us as you were dealing with it and even make us laugh under such circumstances. This thread and ordeal as a whole just serves as a big reminder of the great community here and how it brings out the good in people.

Krei... err, Dean:
You are an incredibly special person. Never forget there are others who care about you and that you will always have a safety net of friends and family ready to return the kindness, joy and support you've brought them. Continue on the path you're on and you'll surely bring more happiness to those around you, who I'm sure will be more than happy to return the favor.

Wishing only the best,
~RM~
