Decided To Upgrade - But Where to buy on finance?

Hello everyone

UK SHOPPING:

I haven't upgraded for 5 years! Now I have decided it's time - does anyone know a site that offers interest free finance? I;m after MoBo, CPU, RAM, SSD and graphics card.. Scan want 19% APR... eBuyer no longer offer finance.. companies like AlienWare overcharge ridiculously..

so my question is.. anyone know of a better option? i want it on finance over 1 or 2 years spending approx £1000

looks for like i5-2500k/i5-3550k, Z77 board, 8gigs or something of DDR3 1600mhz or more and a GTX 670 build.

and last but not least 128gb SSD if u got money for that, i t hink that would be what would be a good upgrade if u wanna game ^^

If you are going to take on loan to upgrade then you cannot afford the upgrade. Besides, the 6600 is still pretty decent

Its a family here, not just a tech website. If you know what you can afford then how come you are willing to sell your freedom to those bankers in exchange for new toys? Not very wise, is it?

If your credit rating is good, you can arrange an overdraft facility with your bank or a new one with typically 0% interest for a year or so.

You know, I bought my wife's engagement ring on 0% interest for a year. Not because I couldn't afford it, just that I didn't want to spend that much all at once. Once the ring was paid off (3 months,) I cancelled the account. Not everyone who uses credit is poor or is spending money that they don't have. There are plenty of people who are fiscally responsible.

www.novatech.co.uk have excellent customer service - and I can say that after many, many purchases. This is a really important factor when choosing where to buy.

I don't see them offering credit, but if you call them, perhaps they can offer you a deal?

Not sure if Amazon UK has the same deal but in the US their storecard has decent financing options. $150 gets you 6 months no interest, $600 gets you 12 months no interest, and they have a 24 month one. I've financed many items through them, never had a problem.
