Overclocking My CPU

Hello,

I have a desktop PC HP d530cmt , with 2.66 ghz pentium 4 CPU , i upgraded it to pentium HT 2.80 , i saw that my new cpu support Overclock option + HT ( 2CPUs ) , Im Tired to overclock it but my Motherboard ( HP 085CH ) doesn't have the overclock option in BIOS .

if there is a software , pls share it with me and thanks .

P.S : i Updated My BIOS

Look for clock generator software for windows. It will either detect the clock chip or you will have to select it from the list. SetFSB is the software. Good luck. And HT is not two cpu is just the thread is divided.

I Could Not Find My PLL , i Tried Clock Gen But i don't know how to use it .

any help ?

I just remember that my clock generator was not detected that I tried all of them until I found one that worked.

I doubt its even worth overclocking
a Pentium 4 is gonna be slow no matter now high you clock it
netburst sucked 10 years ago and it still sucks now albeit harder .. also hacking on the pll chip never ends well with dells
