Atari's 40th Anniversay Greatest Hits, 100 games, all FREE!!!

Of course, in the iTunes store, for iPad and iPhone.

I played so many of these games as a kid, brings back some good memories of childhood gaming. It's great I can share these experiences with my kids, and now, for free!!

Sorry to those of you who do not have Aple devices, but those that do, get it now while it's still free!

Actually, this app is not easy to use. I installed it, and I get millions of ads and it keeps jumping to the store to download to-pay-for-apps.

When using the app DO NOT click on any "download" or "more games" buttons. Just hit the "A-Z" only and scroll through the old-skool covers until you find a game you want, then press select.

BTW these games ARE HUGE DOWNLOADS. They were all originally 6502/6809 8-bit processor games and were only 8K, 16K or 32k big. And NOT the monstrous 1-2MB downloads in the app store!!!

---------------------------

Anyone care to list their "top 5" Atari games in the selection offered by this app?

make sure your time is correctly set. Upon restarting the app, you should get a notice that all games are free until you remove or re-install the app.

I'm getting an average 1.4 MB per app?!?

Yes, 1.4MB is huge compared to the 8K and 16K originals!

Yeah, some are big. Just be sure to add them in the app itself, by clicking the icon in the A-Z list, do not try to get apps form the iTunes app store.
